Tour de Tartarugas

It was one of those experiences that you never forget. We were amazed by the strength the green turtle has to dig its hole and the one for the eggs in the sand and, once the spawning is done, to cover them. In those moments, it is best not to get too close to the turtle because it throws sand flying up to more than two meters. Although it rained heavily on us for half an hour, we lived the experience with great enthusiasm and interest. Our guide, Selmo, was very professional in his work!!

The turtle tour was fascinating. The guide was very friendly and didn‘t just show us the turtles, but told us everything about them enthusiastically. I can deeply recommend this tour, especially because the organizer takes a lot of protective measurements in order to protect the animals.

A magical experience. We were lucky enough to see the entire spawning process. Jorge, our guide, was great. He explained all the details of the process very well to us and explained many interesting facts to us.

Israel really made this an unforgettable experience. He made sure all members of our group were supported. It was incredible to see these beautiful animals up close. Israel even helped us get a watertaxi back to our hotel when we arrived later than expected. 5 stars!

Magical tour led by professionals who love their work!

Amazing experience! We were lucky to see a turtle nest and then go back in the sea. I must see and do for every one that comes to Costa Rica.

We had an unparalleled experience! Lili our guide taught us to respect the moment by giving us valuable information, we saw the turtle spawn, camouflage its nest and slowly accompany it on its return to the sea.As an extra bonus casually the turtle unearthed a nest and we saw the turtles born and walk to the sea😍 I loved the organization and care towards the turtles 💚

It is quite a long walk and if you are not used to the humidity it can be difficult, it was for my husband and myself. We are not use to that type of humidity if this would have been during the day we probably would not have been able to complete the tour. It was a great experience and worth it to us, but we will not be able to do this tour again. Our guide was really great and was very knowledgeable, explaining everything to us including history of the Green Turtles and all the threats they face

You go out at night without electronic devices (camera, mobile phone, etc.) and wait for the spotters to tell you where you can see the turtle while it lays eggs and covers its nest

Everything was great, the amazing guide!! They helped us manage a taxi boat so we could travel from the hotel to the pier. We watched the whole turtle process and learned a lot. It is important to know that the time of the excursion cannot be said until 17 on the same day of the tour, for reasons of the nature park, from the agency they notify you immediately to be able to plan. A great choice.
