We had an amazing experience on the canoe tour with Luis. Luis is patient and kind and really takes his time to explain everything. You can tell he really cares about the environment. Despite the rain, he made sure we saw as much as possible and he was always open to questions. Highly recommend the tour! P, S, N from Canada.
We booked the 6:00 a.m. morning tour and were absolutely delighted. It was an excellent excursion, and fortunately, the weather stayed dry throughout the entire tour. We were able to spot many animals, including a wide variety of birds, caimans, and small monkeys. Our guide, Louis, patiently shared a great deal of interesting information about the wildlife, vegetation, and the country. He guided us safely through the mangroves by boat and demonstrated impressive knowledge of the local flora and fauna. A beautiful, informative, and highly recommended tour!
We saw ñot of monkeys and birds, also caiman. Nice guide explaining everything.
Marco was great ! He is a biologist so he knows a lot about the fauna and flora, he is really chill and he has a keen eye ! Would highly recommend it!
Very passionate about their work, with a lot of wisdom and true professionals!
We went with a guide named Luis and it was incredible; it is impressive to see people who love what they do as we noticed in him. He explains everything calmly, transmitting a peace that accompanies you throughout the activity. He worries about seeing the greatest number of animals possible so that the client leaves happy, he is super attentive to everything, and he infects you with his good vibes. Without a doubt, it is the best thing we have experienced on this trip, and without hesitation, we would do 1000 more activities with him. Pura vida Luis. Tachy and Ornella
A great time; we were taken care of, and the guide shared so much knowledge with us! It was a wonderful moment; Tortuguero is fantastic.
We did the canal tour in Tortuguero with Andy (Pura Natura). He helped us see the animals and explained everything in an enjoyable and fun way. A highly recommendable experience to have if you come to this area.
Andy is a great professional and the experience is unique, totally recommendable.
In fact we took a shared boat, not a canoe, during our exploration of Tortuguero's large and small canals. Late we also took the National Park wald - both with Daniel as our guide. We must tell you all that Daniel was an EXCEPTIONAL GUIDE! Highly knowledgable and quick to spot things. He also helped us to record far-away sightings with hos telescope and mobile phone attachment. His English is very good - very easy to understand him. But Daniel also went further for us. We live in Israel and my wife forgot her reading glasses in the hotel. Daniel collected them and tried to find every possible way to post them to us back home - but all options were too expensive. Then he suggested finding other visitors (coming later to Tortuguero from Israel) and giving the glasses to them with our phone number. He simply never stopped trying to find a solution. This is the high-quality person that Daniel is! So try to seek out Daniel when you come to Tortuguero. he makes all the difference!!
