Poor value for the cost
There are so many activities to do at Gamboa Rainforest Reserve and when you book this way, you limit yourself to paying a lot of money to just go ziplining. Personally, I feel it is better to just spend the day on your own doing the Arial Tram, Sloth Sanctuary, the many hikes and having lunch overlooking the rainforest.

An incredible experience — absolutely worth it
This was an unbelievable experience and one of the highlights of our trip to Panama. It was raining when we did the zipline, which made the experience a little more challenging, but everyone on the staff was incredibly kind, patient and supportive. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire experience.
The location itself is spectacular. Being up among the treetops gives you a completely different perspective of the rainforest. As an unexpected bonus, I spotted a toucan from one of the treetop platforms—the only toucan I saw during my entire stay in Panama! That made the experience even more memorable.
And for anyone wondering about doing this with children: my 11-year-old did it too and made it through the whole experience! The way the staff looked after us made a huge difference.
I had seen some reviews questioning the value for money because the actual zipline ticket costs considerably less than the tour. I think that comparison misses part of what you are paying for. Of course, everyone has a different willingness to pay, but with Panamazing you are also paying for the organization, transportation, driver and overall support surrounding the experience, and those things genuinely added value for us.
Our driver, Edmundo, was wonderful. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Panama, the Panama Canal and the country in general. He even helped us with some souvenir shopping, which we really appreciated.
For us, the complete experience was absolutely worth the price, and I would happily book with Panamazing again.
And the zipline itself? Fantastic—even in the rain!

GAMBOA ZIP LINING
The zip lining itself was an excellent experience the guides were fabulous. One thing they should mention is that you have to walk up the hillside to get to the first zip line and IT IS DEFINITELY A HIKE I was tired by the time I got to the top of the hill, Im over 50. But a great experience!!!!

Ridiculously Overpriced
"Tour Operator" did not email us, call our phone, text our phone or message us through the Trip Advisor app to coordinate our activity. They contacted us through some obscure app on our phone which we never use that we did not notice until after we had alreaxy paid an Uber $23 to pick us up from Casvo Viejo to take us to the activity. When we got to the zip line activity, we discovered that the activity cost was only $60 per person. So if an Uber for up to four people from Panama City is only $46 round trip and the activity is only $60 per person... How is this "Tour Operator" justifying ripping people off for $164. This "Tour Operator" refused our partial refund for services they failed to provide so we are writing this review to warn others.

Overall good
The experience was worth it. However, I thought the cost was too expensive for just zip lining for an hour or so. For that price you should have included maybe a breakfast at the resort or see the sloths/monkeys something to suffice the cost and the trip.

Zipline Panama Style
We Zipline whenever we can when we travel. The Gamboa Ziplines were a great way to spend Christmas. Staff was professional and organized. The ziplined were very fun.
Our Driver was Emanuel. This was our second time to have him. Emanuel is a pleasure. He is very knowledgeable and proud of his country. Emanuel's English is very good. We asked him for a lunch recommendation and he hit it out of the park with the Fish Market. Outstanding civche , shrimp cocktail and fresh sea bass. Panamazing Emanuel is awesome.

A very professional zip-line operation in the jungle!
No real complaints. The various lines seemed shorter and faster than those that we did in Hawaii. I would have preferred longer and slower, so as to enjoy the scenery more. However, my 11-year-old daughter loved it! Staff were great. The rainforest setting was spectacular.

Enjoyable and picturesque.
Very enjoyable and the guides were very helpful. Be prepared to hike to the starting point and a couple of spots in between zip line station if anyone is interested. I would suggest not to wear shorts due to mosquitoes and the harness. I would definitely say it was an enjoyable time. Also very picturesque.

Loved it! Super recommended tour:)
This tour was too cool! We got a little rain, which personally made it even more magical! The driver who picked me up at the Inn, André, was very friendly, punctual and friendly. During the trip he told me a lot about the history of Panama and explained what we were seeing. Plus he gave me very good data of places to visit. The guys in charge of the canopy were also very friendly and friendly and explained everything perfectly, as well as transmitting a lot of security to us all the time. They also had the good will to take our cell phones to take pictures all the time and explain a little about that area. During the tour we saw toucans, parakeets, parrots and howler monkeys. Anyway, I highly recommend this tour, all very professional and good vibes!
