They communicate very well. If you are English speaker, they speak great English and translate very well. This is a very professional tour. I recommend this to anybody looking to book the indigenous tour. They were very kind and patient and make sure everybody was accounted for and I don’t normally leave review so this is definitely a good tour.
Our tour guides Irving and Orlando were great, the village was great and the food was delicious. Would love to come back again soon.
Irving and Orlando were outstanding! Knowledgeable, perfect English Spanish local languages, so much positive energy.
Kareem and Rueben were the best guides ever. I special a little Spanish but not to navigate a tour like this without great guides. They were knowledgeable and kind which is a great combination. As for the tour it is always nice being introduced to a culture you are unfamiliar with and to do it with it seeming like you are observing like you are at a zoo or something. The community welcomed us in, shared some of their culture, and fed us very well. Visiting the waterfall was just the icing on the cake. Worth the money and your time. Stay hydrated!
Absolutely loved our visit to the Embera village! It was well planned and organized, and Orlando was a phenomenal guide ! You could tell he truly loves his job, and truly enjoys spending time with the Embera people and knows every person and child by name! We didn’t do the waterfalls - and felt that gave us even more time to spend with the Embera people and learn more about the village . For people doing the waterfalls, please be aware it includes a 25-min steep hike from what I heard from others - so dress appropriately and be prepared. Heard it was lovely! It was our favorite tour in Panama so far.
We had an absolutely incredible experience, and I cannot recommend this tour enough! If you’re lucky enough to have Orlando as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable day. From the moment we met him, Orlando made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He speaks multiple languages, has an amazing personality, and did an outstanding job bringing the entire group together. Even though we all came from different places, by the end of the tour it genuinely felt like we were one big family. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and welcoming throughout the entire trip. Visiting the Emberá village was one of the highlights of our time in Panama. It was such an authentic and unique cultural experience, and Orlando made it even more special by sharing his knowledge, answering every question, and making sure everyone was having a great time. He was patient, professional, organized, and always attentive to everyone’s needs. My sister and I truly loved every minute of this experience. We laughed, learned so much about the Emberá culture, met wonderful people, and created memories we’ll never forget. Orlando also took amazing photos and videos for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for the best guide in Panama, don’t think twice—ask for Orlando. I would recommend him 100%, without hesitation. He went above and beyond to make this tour perfect, and I would happily book another tour with him in the future. Thank you, Orlando, for making our visit so special. This was easily one of the best experiences of our trip to Panama!
Orlando was an awesome guide that truly made the experience a monumental adventure. His knowledge of the community's history elevated the excursion. From dancing, eating, and then traveling to the waterfall, my vacation was a dream come true. This is a must if you enjoy adventure and learning other cultures.
Nice tour guides. Very punctual. Great experience in the Embera. Make sure to pack proper hiking shoes!!
Must do tour! This was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives! Our guide Orlando was the absolute best - great friendly spirit and very knowledgeable about Panama and the Embera indigenous community! He made sure we were very well taken care of and even took our pictures and sen them all to us at the end of the day! BOOK THIS TOUR and request Orlando 😊
