Maher was our guide for this experience and he was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to provide us with lots of detail about Tunis and its history. We would highly recommend him! This was a great way for us to see a glimpse of Tunis in one day.
An incredible experience! Tunis surprised us, guided by Yahya (the best guide), who took us step by step through ancient history and current life, showed us the typical corners that are not known to mass tourism, and through his love for his country made us feel at home!
This tour through Didon Tours was amazing! Our driver & the tour guide Maher went out of their way to show us how beautiful Tunis is! What a privilege it was to spend the day with them! Maher understood our love for getting a real feel for life in Tunis markets and neighborhoods. Would highly recommend!
Coordinating with Oussama from Didon Tours a private group tour for our cruise ship visit was seamless. We had great communication every step of the way via e-mail and WhatsApp. Very personal service. Great communication ahead of our visit. They were very accommodating. We agreed on a time, place and special itinerary more interested in spending time visiting the historic Carthage and Roman sites, outstanding local lunch in La Goullete, and extra time in Abu Said. Mahjoub was outstanding as a guide. He went above and beyond to meet our needs. He was really into our history and civilization questions. We all enjoyed his mastery of history and civilizations. Our full day tour out of our cruise ship was an outstanding success. Simply, above and beyond expectations. We did a great route, great explanations. Good insights as to local’s perspective. Great views and places visited. Very good driver, vehicle and amenable. We cannot wait to get back and visit the Sandy Sahara and other places Mahjoub take us and Oussama can plan for us.
Fahmi (tour guide) and Mahen (driver) were wonderful. They were prompt and helpful, and managed to show us so much in a 6 hour tour! Fahmi was knowledgeable about history and politics, and was fun to chat with. He showed us the historic areas, tourist areas with instagram worthy photo ops and the real Tunisia neighborhoods. We expressed interest in art and he made a detour to show us a cool local modern art exhibit in a restored church. Lunch was terrific. He took the best photos of us too! If we come again we will look him up and highly recommend him!

We had the most incredible day touring Tunis, thanks to our amazing guide Jibrane! From the moment we met him, he made us feel like family-warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share his culture with us. His knowledge of the history, architecture and hidden stories of Tunisian was unbelievable. He brought everything to life.He didn’t just take us to the standard spots…he took us to special places that weren’t even on the itinerary. If you’re visiting Tunis, do yourself a favor and book with Jibrane. It was one of the best tours we’ve had, and we left feeling like we gained not just memories, but a friend.

My husband and I had a very comprehensive and interesting private tour with Bilal. He was knowledgeable, fully fluent in English and gave us an enjoyable and interesting tour of the main sights of Tunis and the area.
Fami was our guide. He was great! Very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. We got to see many sights, complete with explanations of their history and significance. Our driver was very good as well.
