Situado no topo de uma colina coberta de árvores de 27m de altura, Wat Phnom é a única colina da cidade. Segundo a lenda, o primeiro pagode neste local foi erguido em 1373 para abrigar quatro estátuas de Buda depositadas aqui pelas águas do Mekong e descobertas por um nome de mulher, Penh.
O Palácio Real contém alguns edifícios espetaculares. Não menos do que é o Salão do Trono, situado à esquerda da entrada principal. Possui uma torre de 59 metros. O telhado da torre é bonito, tendo sido decorado de forma decorativa com azulejos de cor dourada. Este edifício é usado para grandes celebrações oficiais, coroações e audiências com dignitários estrangeiros e funcionários do governo. O Royal Treasury e a villa Napoleon II ficam ao sul do Royal Throne Hall.
No caminho de volta do Templo Wat Phnom (Pagode), apreciaremos a vista do Mekong ou Rio Mekong, é um rio transfronteiriço no leste e sudeste da Ásia. É o décimo rio mais longo do mundo e o sexto mais longo da Ásia.[2] Seu comprimento estimado é de 4.909 km (3.050 mi),[2] e drena uma área de 795.000 km2 (307.000 sq mi), descarregando 475 km3 (114 cu mi) de água anualmente.[3] Do planalto tibetano, o rio atravessa a China, Mianmar, Laos, Tailândia, Camboja e Vietnã. As variações sazonais extremas no fluxo e a presença de corredeiras e cachoeiras no Mekong dificultam a navegação. Mesmo assim, o rio é uma importante rota comercial entre o oeste da China e o sudeste da Ásia.
Sisowath Quay (Khmer: តីរវិថី ព្រះស៊ីសុវត្ថិ, Preah Sisowath Quay) é uma faixa ribeirinha de 3 quilômetros repleta de hotéis, restaurantes, bares, cafés e lojas. A faixa está cheia de vendedores e moradores locais e é popular entre os turistas. A parte em frente ao palácio era usada para assistir a corridas de barcos durante o Festival da Água. O Clube de Correspondentes Estrangeiros do Camboja está localizado ao longo da faixa. O cais é nomeado em homenagem ao rei Sisowath do Camboja.
O Memorial Norodom Sihanouk é um monumento em homenagem ao ex-Rei Norodom Sihanouk localizado em Phnom Penh, Camboja. A estátua de bronze tem 4,5 metros de altura e está alojada sob uma estupa de 27 metros de altura no parque a leste do Monumento da Independência.
Uma torre de estilo angkoriano, o lugar inimitável em toda a cidade, localizado no coração da capital. Foi construído em 1958 para Sybilles Cambodian Independence Day, após reconquistar a independência do protetorado francês em 9 de novembro de 1953.
Em 1975, a Escola Secundária Tuol Svay Prey foi tomada pela força de segurança de Pol Pot e transformada em uma prisão conhecida como Prisão de Segurança 21 (S-21). Logo se tornou o maior centro de detenção e tortura desse tipo no país. Mais de 17.000 pessoas mantidas no S-21 foram levadas para o campo de extermínio de Choeung Ek para serem executadas; detentos que morreram durante a tortura foram enterrados em valas comuns nos campos da prisão. S-21 foi transformado no Museu Tuol Sleng, que serve como um testamento para os crimes do Khmer Rough.

Wat Preah Keo Morakot (Pagode de Prata) está localizado na parte sul do complexo do Palácio Real. O pagode era anteriormente conhecido como Wat Uborsoth Rotannaram, porque é onde o rei adorava, rezava e praticava todos os dias budistas de Silas.
O Mercado Central é um marco Art Déco de Phnom Penh, capital do Camboja. O edifício amarelo brilhante concluído em 1937 tem uma cúpula central de 26 m de altura, com quatro braços altos com telhados em arco se ramificando diagonalmente pelo quarteirão, criando vastos corredores que abrigam inúmeras barracas e todos os tipos de mercadorias.

I had an amazing day seeing the sights of Phnom Penh with my guide Maroth. He is very knowledgeable and gave me some good insights into Cambodian history and the significance of the places we visited. Lunch, which was included in the tour, was a preset menu and was delicious at a waterfront restaurant. We even saw toucans in flight at Wat Phnom! We ended the tour at the Central Market and I found some great bargains. All in all, a memorable day! Highly recommend this tour and Maroth as your guide.

A full-day tour in Phnom Penh with car, driver and guide which provided a great experience for us. With not a lot of time to spend in the Cambodian capital, this was the ideal way to make the most of it. Our guide was excellent. A bonus for us, as Kat is not available during the working week and we took the tour on a Sunday. A bonus because Kat is both professionally qualified not just as a guide but also in areas concerned with tourism in Cambodia. All the places described in the itinerary were well accommodated, plus we were able to flex arrangements to be able to and see things that we specifically wanted to. We recommend this tour and the service provided by the tour company.

I lucked out and ended up getting a private tour for the day, even though I expected a group! So easy with hotel pickup and drop off, and my guide and driver were phenomenal. Courteous, safe driver and sweet and knowledgeable guide. She never made me feel too rushed and even allowed me to shop at the market by myself, so no pressure there to buy or not buy. She was also a certified guide and gave me tremendous insight into the Royal Palace. Another friend of mine went to the palace on her own and when we compared notes at dinner, I had learned so much more from my guide that my friend was jealous and said she wished she'd booked this tour too; she'd just walked through without any context. WELL worth the cost and you'll have an incredible experience.

We had a private driver and tour guide for the day. Went to all the places as per the advert and explained everything. The Palace as beautiful the killing fields was very upsetting and something that I had never heard of before today. Food at the restaurant was brilliant as well

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. You get a real feel for the history of the city. The Palace is very impressive and I would recommend visiting the museum as well.
