A visita deles é opcional e não está incluída no preço, mas se desejar enriquecer a sua experiência, basta conversar sobre isso com o seu motorista. ➡️ Dependendo das suas preferências e do tempo disponível, ele pode adaptar o roteiro do dia para incluir um desses museus (por exemplo, o Museu Overlord ou a Praia de Utah), garantindo o seu retorno em tempo hábil e em segurança. Seu motorista e guia (dependendo da opção escolhida) irão buscá-lo diretamente no local combinado: hotel, estação de trem ou terminal de cruzeiros. Ele o receberá com uma placa com seu nome para facilitar a reunião. Em seguida, você embarcará em um veículo moderno, confortável e com ar-condicionado para um dia memorável através da história.
Após cerca de 2 horas de carro de Le Havre, você chega à Praia de Utah, a primeira praia libertada pelas tropas americanas em 6 de junho de 1944. Você descobrirá os bunkers, os restos do Muro do Atlântico e, opcionalmente, o museu que reconta as operações militares. Seu guia explicará como as tropas do General Roosevelt conseguiram romper as defesas alemãs com perdas relativamente limitadas. ➡️ Uma etapa que introduz perfeitamente o dia, mostrando a estratégia aliada e a importância desta praia.
Após uma viagem de 40 minutos, você chega a Pointe du Hoc. Este local espetacular, situado em penhascos de 30 metros, ainda testemunha a violência dos combates atuais. Crateras de bombas e bunkers em ruínas são uma lembrança do ataque heroico dos rangers americanos que escalaram o penhasco sob fogo inimigo. ➡️ Um lugar impressionante e carregado de emoção, que ilustra a coragem dos soldados.
A apenas 15 minutos de carro, você chega à praia de Omaha, apelidada de "Omaha Sangrenta". Esta praia continua sendo um dos locais mais comoventes dos desembarques do Dia D. Aqui, as tropas americanas sofreram as maiores perdas ao enfrentarem as formidáveis defesas alemãs. Caminhar nesta praia é sentir a história e compreender o preço da liberdade. Pausa para almoço: você terá a opção de comer no local (sanduíches, lanches rápidos) ou, se preferir, desfrutar de um pequeno restaurante típico na estrada, selecionado por sua autenticidade e culinária local. ➡️ Um dos pontos altos do dia, repleto de história e convívio.
Finalmente, após apenas 10 minutos de carro, você chega ao Cemitério Americano em Colleville-sur-Mer, de frente para a Praia de Omaha. Este memorial presta homenagem aos mais de 9.000 soldados americanos que morreram durante a Batalha da Normandia. Ali você verá o alinhamento perfeito das cruzes brancas, o memorial, a capela e a vista deslumbrante do mar. ➡️ Uma visita comovente, propícia à contemplação e à reflexão sobre o sacrifício de toda uma geração.
Ao final do dia, seu motorista o levará de volta ao ponto de partida original (hotel, estação de trem, terminal de cruzeiros ou endereço combinado), em segurança e de acordo com os horários agendados.

Absolutely brilliant. Our tour guide Mathilde was a wealth of knowledge and fascinating local insights. Our driver Modjy was pleasant, courtious and very professional. Our group of seven (ages 4 to 67) all came away eager to do individual research in order to gain a deeper understanding of the events that Mathilde had introduced us to. We spent 10 hours with Mathilde and Modjy and every minute was fascinating and a joy. Highly recomended, a most rewarding day.

An excellent driver, Adel, with a great tour guide, Sunny. Picked the 6 of us up at the cruise ship for a drive to Normandy. Sunny was very good at giving g us information about the country side we were passing through, the areas we were to visit and WWII . Did not rush us and gave us options. Overall a very emotional and great day visiting the beaches of Normandy. Excellent private tour of this very historical area. A big thank you from our group!

Incredible day with private tour guide who helped us understand all the intricacies and details of the D-Day planning, landings, and battles. Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, Pont Du Hoc, bunkers, craters, hedgerows, and more. The Memorial was particularly special as we explored the chapel, cross headstones, and the wall of names of soldiers who have not yet been found. Our guide helped me contact the Visitor Center to arrange a remembrance of my grandfather's best friend who survived D-Day but died a month later. (I had not known to arrange it prior to the trip). We sanded his stone with sand from Omaha Beach (to help his name stand out in pictures) and placed an American and French flag at his grave. Such an amazing experience with my daughter! And the hospitality was incredible- we even stopped for omelettes and gallettes. We also added a round-trip transfer to and from our cruise port for added convenience and were so glad we did. Great trip!

Jonathan was an amazing driver. We had a few different things on the tour we wanted to see that were special to us and he made it happen. Arrived with fresh croissants and juice. Was very accommodating and helpful and took us to amazing places. Highly recommend him and this tour
