Burt did a great job educating us about World War II and how the war impacted Normandy. Burt's love for history and commitment to learning was evident. As an US Army veteran, I didn't know what to expect. The tour hit all of the high points. We did not feel rushed at the scheduled stops which allowed Burt to educate us and then we had enough time to explore individual interests. Highly recommend this tour!
Sam was an outstanding tour guide, as we were part of a group from a cruise ship that docked in Le Havre, the company was on top of ensuring we were picked up and promptly and delivered to the drop off point right by the ship in a timely manner! 100% recommend and checking with other friends from the cruise ships who took other tours, ours was the best in terms of quality and value! Again, Sam was a fantastic guide!
A moving experience. Cemeteries were beautifully manicured and stunning. Stories by those who lived through it were heart wrenching. Our guide was very knowledgeable but his French accent made it difficult to understand everything he told us. He also did not project his voice well, so I some of what he said. I also did not think he was dressed appropriately for his role. Too casual. Not professional.

Our guide, Sam, was so knowledgeable and seemed truly invested in the topic. He presented so much information and respect for the topic and wanted to share.
This was our chance to see Normandy and the sites of D-Day. We had a stop on the Majestic Princess at Le Havre. We had planned on a Princess Excursion because we wanted to make sure we were safe if the tour was late, but we needn't worry as the tour (and all the non-Princess tours we did) were all very aware of when we needed to be back and were very careful. We went in August, 2026 Our guide was very nice, but a little talkative, although I just think that is part of her personality. This tour went to Pont du Hoc to start, which was great to see. We went into bunkers and got great views of the cliffs. NOTE: We were told that the site would be closing for 5 years as they renovate it, so check before you book. We then went to Omaha Beach. We got free time to explore there and were given lunch, which was fine. There are other places to eat at that stop as well. I was a little disappointed at the lack of monuments at this stop, and I gathered that there was another, a bit busier, area of Omaha Beach with more to see. However, it was nice to avoid the crowds here and to get a sense of what it was like. We then swung by a museum gift shop for just a couple of minutes before going to the Military cemetery. This was a powerful stop. We had plenty of time here, and the museum here was very good. You can still see the beach from the cemetery. We then went back to the bus. The ride is about 2 hours each way from the cruise terminal, They pick you up and drop you off right by the ship.

My husband and father-in-law said this was the best tour out of their whole trip and would do it all over again thank you for making this memorable trip for them
Our tour guide Thelma was so knowledgeable and kind. She took us through the history leading up to D Day and taught us many things we did not know.
This is a full day experience. We were picked up right at our ship. The guide, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable. He used the travel time to the beaches for a history lesson leading up to WWII. Having known someone who was wounded at St. Lo, this was a very meaningful visit for us. Recommend very highly. We returned in plenty of time before the gangway went up.
Loved this. We found the guide extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He kept us on schedule and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own.
Sam is as a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. The stops were a great selection of memorial, beach, and old German gun emplacements and bunker. A ton of history in one day.
