Parmigiano Reggiano e passeio de presunto de Parma

Planned a balsamic vinegar, parmigiana and prosciutto tour for my daughter and I for couple months before our visit to Bologna. Laura was helpful and detailed in how to get to where I needed to go on the train. She also set us up with a fantastic guide Filippo. He was at train station waiting for us when we arrived, very nice with excellent conversations and laughs in English. Each stop and each areas we drove through he had so much to tell us. These words are not even touching how great of time my daughter and I had with him. If looking for a private and amazing tour this is the one. I definitely would refer friends, family and do it again for myself and any other tours that are available.

Laura was knowledgeable—her 17 years of experience truly showed throughout the tour. Both she and our driver and fellow guide, Filippo, were punctual, friendly, and well-informed. We couldn’t have recreated this experience on our own; it was seamless, relaxed, and met our expectations. Not only did the tour deliver everything that was promised, but it also included thoughtful extras that made it even more special.

We really enjoyed seeing Parmesan-Reggiano cheese being made and aged and learning about the process. It was fun and educational. We also enjoyed visiting the ham etc. producer, where we also learned about the products, and saw hams being stored. The tastings at both locations were great! Hunks of 12, 24, and 36 months aged cheese. Several types of hams. Water. And wine (Lambrusco) and bread at the ham place. Plenty to eat at both places! We didn’t need lunch after. Our guide was Fillipo. He is very nice, native to the area, with excellent English, and gave us a lot of information. We took a little long, but he never rushed us. We also had nice conversations with Fillipo in general. Nothing was crowded. Our tour was April 2.

We had a great tour. Laura and Mara were very friendly. The tours at the parmesan and prosciutto factories were very interactive and we learned a lot. We highly recommend this.

We went on a tour with Filippo and had such a wonderful day! We were traveling with our 7-year-old twins and the whole family enjoyed the day. Filippo added so much charm, authenticity, and educational background to the experience. I would highly recommend this tour.

In september I joined the cheese, ham and balsamic Food tour together with 2 friends. It was only the three of us. Laura picked us up by car, she was a very safe Driver. We drove to the three places and saw all of them in half a day. Very friendly People with local productions - a real and authentic italian feeling! Laura gave us many interesting Informations and all the food we tried was delicious! I would do it over and over again! Thank you so much Laura!

Laura took us on a morning tour to three venues: a Parmiggiano Reggiano cheesemaker, a ham maker and a balsamico producer. All three were small family owned companies where you could see the passion of the people for their product. Laura explained a lot and also translated where necessary. It was a very enjoyable tour and I would recommend it to others.
