Great tour with Ilaria! Perfect balance of food and walking.amd sights. And everything we are was fantastic. Had our 3 teens with us that loved it.
The tour was an excellent overview of Modena, its history, its sights, and its food. Guide Stefania was excellent. She was prompt and knew her city well. She adjusted the tour as we asked questions or showed interest in a subject. I would highly recommend to anyone new to the city.
We really enjoyed the food tour in Modena. Our guide Stefania was lovely, so personable and energetic. She shared interesting history of the foods and the city itself. We tasted a great variety of foods and it was all delicious. Highly recommend!
We highly recommend this tour and Stefania. She was an excellent guide, warm and welcoming and so knowledgeable about her city, the whole region of Emilia Romana and its delicious food. It was amazing value for money. For €70 we got an interesting and informative 2.5 hour tour and we had the most gorgeous food slong the way. We went to the best markets and shops and cafes and restaurants, with tastings of balsamic and parmagiana, gnocco frito, lambrusco, pasta and gelato. We didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! If you get the chance do visit the very beautiful Modena and make sure to book the expert Stefania to share its many highlights.
A great experience, worth the time and the money. Ilaria was an amazing guide, full of stories about food. A must is the green lasana at Trattoria di Modena and the gnocho frito con salame with a glass of white wine at the bar. And there was gelato at the end! You will not regret the experience!

It’s a good over view of old Modena with visits to the market and a balsamic vinegar shop. And, really good tastes!
Such a wonderful tour. I am traveling solo in the off season and appreciate the company and guide providing a private VIP experience. Do not assume you can visit Modena and see all of its charm on your own. A guide brings it to life and allows a peak inside the life of Italians. Highly recommend.
Matteo was a fabulous guide! He knew Italian and local history as if he were a professor and told us fascinating stories about Modena and the surrounding areas. He was patient, kind and very enjoyable. We loved the balsamic vinegar tasting and lesson as well as the Parmesan cheese, Lambrusco, and pasta lessons and tastings. It was the perfect overview of Modena! We highly recommend this tour and Matteo.
