Uísque Lititz e passeio histórico

Our guide, Kevin, was great. As long-time locals, we thought it would be fun to do the tour and learn something new about where we live. The $25 price is great value for the price. Besides a short stroll around the town learning more about its history, we also had a whiskey tasting at the local distillery that included three of their whiskeys and a tour of the distillery. Definitely recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike.

Even if hesitant, you will likely enjoy! An hour stroll through Lititz seeing historical buildings made lively and fun by tourist (Kevin) and then an hour visit with Stoll and Wolfe Distillery learning their story and tasting great whiskeys.

We just spent this past Saturday afternoon on the Whiskey and History tour. Friends of ours joined us for the event. We're actually locals, living in the next town over 10 minutes away, lol, so we were excited to learn a bit about our next-door neighbors. Our guide Kevin had a bit of a challenge with Mother Nature on Saturday as we were literally 5 minutes into our tour when it started pouring. He kindly got us under shelter and continued his talk about the history of Lititz. What I found most interesting was the background of the Moravian piece of Lititz. Didn't really know much about the Moravian faith so that part of the tour was quite fascinating. We were able to continue the tour after about 20 minutes, and walked a little further in town to look at other historical buildings and the stories behind them. The rain was persistent however so in between showers, Kevin completed the tour and took us to Stoll and Wolff a bit earlier than anticipated. No problem with us! We're all geeks when it comes to distilling and learning about whiskey and bourbon. The time at Stoll and Wolff was quite interesting and enjoyable. Mr Wolff (father of owner) was a good storyteller and in fact, during his talk, my husband and I learned that he's related to the folks who built our home in 1837 and were involved in milling and distilling in our town. We enjoyed tasting 3 different spirits and had a tour of the distilling room. The tour overall was a bit over 2 hours, but well worth the very reasonable ticket price. If you want something a little different to do for the afternoon, I highly suggest taking this tour both the Lititz history and some great whiskey!

Bob led history tour- he was soooo good- and then the father of the distillery owner led whiskey tour and history. It was outstanding experience. I highly recommend. We went to the foundations museum the day before. The tour brought the history to life!

Fantastic. Our Guide Kevin as amazing. We learned so much about the History of the town. The Distillery is wonderful. One of the Owners sat down with us and gave us the history of the Distillery and his family and the History of Whiskey in Lancaster. The entire trip was so amazing.. Thank you so much

The tour provided interesting info about Lititz history, however due to lots of traffic noise, it was extremely difficult to hear the tour guide. At most of the stops along E. Main St., I could hear maybe 20% of what she said. The same for the other people in my group of 12 also said the same thing during and afterwards. Also, she talked rather fast which made understanding her in the loud environment rather difficult. Maybe a mic and loudspeaker would be helpful so the attendees can actually hear the stories being told to us. Our group was from Lancaster and Lebanon Counties so we were local.

Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. He clearly enjoyed his work, which made the tour enjoyable for everyone. We enjoyed both the walking tour and the whiskey tasting. High my recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys whiskey and history.

The guide, Bob, is very knowledgeable and the walk was so enjoyable as we learned about the town of Lititz. At the end of the tour we went to Stoll & Wolfe distillery, where we learned all about the history of the distilling business in Lititz As well as how the distilling business evolved. Jim Wolfe is a great historian and the spirits were delicious.

Bob was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Taught me much about my local community. Interesting how the whiskey is made, And of course, the sampling was great. Well worth it!
