O espírito extremamente rico e excêntrico de Betty Brown peregrinou para sempre nos elegantes salões de Ashton Villa. Muitos viram Betty usando um vestido turquesa e carregando um ventilador durante um evento luxuoso realizado na mansão. Mesmo a morte não pode impedir que Betty seja a vida da festa... e assustar os convidados metade até a morte.
Um dos mais de 200 marcos históricos da ilha, esta é a antiga residência de Olga Samaroff que é conhecida por perseguir a casa até hoje.

Apenas uma pessoa gostou de viver no Normandy Inn e esse foi o homem que trouxe Satanismo para a ilha. Uma semana depois da construção, um menino jogou-se pela janela... E VIVEU. Quando perguntado por que ele fez algo assim, ele respondeu: “Algo mau estava me matando”. Agora o Normandy Inn tornou-se um local de peregrinação para aqueles que praticam voodoo, magia negra, satanismo e artesanato de bruxas. Muitos rituais de sacrifício aconteceram aqui, incluindo... UM HUMANO! Até hoje, ainda é usado como um portal para o inferno.
Muitos hóspedes deste hotel contaram histórias de uma senhora solitária vagando pelos corredores, alguns até mesmo tendo conversas completas com ela. Mas de manhã, percebendo que ela nunca existe!

A walk around a couple of blocks with stories about houses where you don’t even go in…could have been any random house…it was scary boring. Some history of galvestone…not interesting at all for our family

The whole experience sucked. The guide was terrible, this was just a history lesson. Nothing about this was scary! I wouldn’t waist the money.

We don’t stage scares or try to create a haunted-house experience, as we believe the real history behind Galveston’s haunted reputation is what makes these stories so fascinating.
