It was really nice, we went with Antonio who was very kind all the time and also he suggested a delicious meal in the "Plaza de Mariscos" in Panama city, we went too to the "Casco Viejo" which shows you the history of this beautiful country.
A well timed and curated experience. A taste of Panama, enthusiastically delivered by our guide, Dimos. I really enjoyed it.
Dimos was an excellent tour guide and was very informative, kept us very entertained. There was a slight delay with the tour (not his fault) but he made up for it and showed us a few extra things. WOuld definitely recommend
This tour made me feel like a tourist. The Panama Canal tour was very informative. Our tour guide Dimos was super intelligent and knowledgeable. His English was superb and accommodated our shopping at a local souvenir market which was very inexpensive The tour of the old colonial city was nice too. There was free water provided and the van was air conditioned. I would do it again if I brought the rest of my family. 10/10
Thank you so much for the fantastic 10/10 review! We are thrilled to hear that Dimos provided such an intelligent, knowledgeable, and accommodating experience—from sharing the fascinating history of the canal and old colonial city to helping you find great local souvenirs. It's wonderful to know that the comfortable van, cold water, and overall service hit the mark. We would love to welcome you and the rest of your family for another tour whenever you're back in Panama! Best regards, Tony
Tony was our guide for the private tour, he was great. We had a long layover coming back from our South America trip to the U.S. Having never been to Panama, this was the perfect fit for us. Tony was very flexible with pickup and dropoff at the airport. Tony was a very safe driver, with his new SUV. We told him our flight times ahead of time, and he filled it up perfectly with attractions and sights to see. Follow Tony’s advice to go see the canal first thing in the morning, he knows all the details to avoid the big crowds and get into position for best views and short lines.
Thank you so much for the fantastic review! I'm really glad I could make the best out of your layover and help you experience the highlights of Panama smoothly. Beating the morning crowds at the canal is always a game-changer, and it was a pleasure showing you around safely in the SUV. I hope to welcome you back for a much longer trip next time! Best regards, Tony

We squeezed this tour into a long layover we had on the way back from Chile and we were so happy we did. Our guide Jorge was very informative and the company was very professional. Everything went smoothly. We learned so much and had a great time. Importantly for us the company monitors the ship traffic and does their best to time tje visit to the canal so you can see the real life operations in practice. An amazing and fun afternoon to learn more about Panama, the canal, and the old city and its history. Highly recommend.
Love that you squeezed this into your layover coming back from Chile! Super glad to hear everything went smoothly and that Jorge hit the mark with timing the ship traffic at the canal—catching those ships in action really makes all the difference. Thanks so much for the high recommendation, and hopefully we'll see you back in Panama for a proper, longer trip next time! Best regards, Tony
Punctual and precise even for the hotel pickup and drop-off, despite the traffic in Panama. Ronald was very good at explaining the history, the operating mechanism of the canal, and also at pointing out the best spots to take photos of the canal as well as inside the historic center of Panama, where he led us on a walk to see the most important sites.
Tony
Our guide was nice, punctual, and knowledgeable, but the tour itself was definitely not worth the price. The online itinerary is not accurate, and the experience felt very rushed. This is mostly a drive-around tour where the guide talks while you stay in the car. You do not really get time to walk around, explore, or enjoy the stops. He did stop for pictures when we asked, which we appreciated, but this is not a leisure tour. You will not see as much as the description makes it seem. Also, even though my hotel was listed for pickup and my booking confirmed pickup, they added a $40 pickup fee. Since this was supposed to be a private tour, I do not understand why I would be expected to go to another hotel for pickup. If you are okay staying in the car most of the time and just want to get to the locks early, this may work for you. But if you want a relaxed private tour where you can actually experience the places listed, I would not recommend this one.
Dear Mrs Elle: this is our first time in 17 years that we receive a misleading review like this. Partial refund: first reason you gave was unexpected medical situations and second reason on a different request was that we did not get to the places marked on the itinerary and that you were even rushed. Nothing close to the truth! Your tour started on time and you were dropped at your hotel as planned after 5.5 hours. French plaza is closed due remodeling, so, nobody can get in; not only us! It is out of our control. All of you attended the tour, all! No one was announced as sick or injured!! I am sorry that you did not read, when you were booking, that if you are outside of Panama City there would be an xtra charge for roundtrip transportation, not the real cost! We did what we promised and more as we always do! Thanks Tony
I enjoyed this tour. Ronald was a very knowledgeable tour guide who was happy to share not only knowledge of the canal, but of Panama generally. Recommended unreservedly.
So glad you enjoyed it! Ronald really knows his stuff when it comes to the canal and the country overall, so it's awesome to hear he made your experience so great. Thanks for the massive recommendation, and hopefully we'll see you back in Panama for round two! Best regards, Tony
