Luis was absolutely fantastic and made our time in Panama truly special! From the moment we met him, it was clear that he was committed to giving us an exceptional experience. At the Panama Canal, he made sure we arrived first and positioned us perfectly for the best possible views of the ships navigating the locks. Our tour of Old Town was equally memorable. Rather than simply following the typical tourist route, Luis showed us fascinating off-the-beaten-path locations and beautiful historic churches, including a special behind-the-scenes visit to the museum of the sacristy. His knowledge of Panama’s history and culture brought everything we saw to life. It was a a wonderful mix of well-known highlights and places we would never have discovered on our own. Most of all, Luis was knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. He was a wonderful ambassador for Panama and its famously friendly people. We left feeling like we had seen so much more of Panama than we would have on our own.

First of all, I want to mention that I was born in Panama but left when I was 3. I’ve been back several times, but the last time I visited the canal was when I was around 8. I can honestly say I learned more about the canal through our guide than ever before. He was very knowledgeable and is completely bilingual in Spanish and English. He was also very courteous and punctual.
