Cusco Cooking Classes e San Pedro Market Tour

This is a must do in Cusco. The experience starts with meeting Chef Dael as he walks you through different aisles of Sam Pedroatker and picks up produce for the meal that you’ll be cooking. It’s about an hour on the Mather and you get a good overview of Andean produce and techniques. After which you walk to the culinary studio and prepare your three course meal. The recipes are unique and flavorful and healthy. You get to make pisco sour, an appetizer and dessert and sop on chica morada in between courses. The group size is small and intimate and you get to learn a lot about Peru in general. Wish we had done it on the first day instead of the last so we would had more time to explore San Pedro market after the tour

This cooking class was one of my favourite activities from our whole trip - it was well worth making the time in our quick trip to Cusco for! Our guide, Mauricio, was incredibly knowledgeable with experience in high end restaurants and lecturing at universities. He was an excellent teacher, engaging and down-to-earth, and taught us lots about local cuisine and its history. I really enjoyed the market tour - it added a whole new layer of depth to the cooking we did, as we were able to see the many amazing types of local ingredients firsthand and learn all about it and more in a market environment. The cooking school itself is in a really nice quiet building and the space and equipment was very clean and professional. The food we prepared was delicious - and there was so much of it! We made pisco sour, three types of ceviche, capsicum stuffed with a delicious cheesy potato mixture, and about three other dishes - all really tasty and things I wouldn't have tried if it weren't for this experience. Highly recommend Cusco Culinary if you're after a fun experience where you're well looked after with true professionals!

Good experience, he taught us many dish such as Pisco, 3 type of Ceviche, potato soup, and many dish that use ingredient from local market

I had a wonderful experience today at the Cusco Cooking Class. Our guide and chef Mauricio was very knowledgeable, attentive ,and seemed to be genuinely passionate about peruvian cuisine which made the experience even more memorable. The food we cooked was delicious and we ate so much I could barely breathe after. I 100% recommend it.

Mauricio did a fantastic job guiding us through the market and sharing valuable tips about what to eat, what to avoid, and what questions to ask to ensure a safe and healthy experience. After the market tour, we walked to a beautiful, well-appointed studio in a great location. Mauricio and his team were welcoming, organized, and made sure everyone had a great time. The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire experience was both fun and educational. We had kids with us, and they had a blast as well. Mauricio was engaging and made the class enjoyable for all ages. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable cooking class.

Our cooking class was great! We had Mauricio and he was so knowledgeable and fun. He really led the class well even when we got sidetracked. You could tell he put quite a bit of thought into mixing the different tastes for the meal and he accommodated our need for gluten-free seamlessly. I'd highly recommend this cooking class!

Amazing cooking class! Mauricio was wonderful - he made sure that the food we made was tweaked to suit everyone's dislikes and allergies. The tour of the San Pedro market was really helpful with some good tips on what to look out for! And the food was AMAZING. This was my favourite activity in Cusco city during my trip :) I would do it again just for the ceviche!!
