Paola was fantastic! Very welcoming and kind. We are so appreciative that she adjusted her schedule to fit us in at the last minute. She gave us so many insights and helpful tips for making incredible pasta. She was very patient in helping us learn and refine the techniques that we will be able to take home and use for trying to make it on our own. She said we passed but have to come back for a follow-up next time we are in Bologna and possibly learn some more recipes 😀

My family and I scheduled this pasta class with high hopes and Paola did not disappoint! We entered her lovely home in the center of Bologna and felt welcomed and comfortable. Paola is learning English and had a translator with her who we also loved (thank you Agnese!). We were immediately put to work making tiramisu, pumpkin gnocchi and tagliatelle ragu. Paola had done quite a bit of preparation so everything was ready for us. She was organized, clean, and kept us all busy. We enjoyed the meal (which was so much food!) at her dining room table and stayed chatting for quite some time, never feeling rushed. It was a wonderful experience that I will not soon forget. We arrived home in the US and my teenagers asked if they could make "Paola's pumpkin gnocchi" this week. Paola was the perfect host and I would love to go back and learn more from her, she has so much knowledge. Paola, we will be back - next time lasagna and pizza dough! Grazie mille!!

Loved this experience! It was intimate and fun. Paola gave great guidance and the food we made together was delicious. Preparing our meal in a real Italian home kitchen/setting sets this experience apart from the other pasta making classes. We thoroughly enjoyed both our meal and visit with Cesarine Margherita! We traveled to Italy to visit our college-aged daughter completing her semester studying abroad in nearby Florence. Bologna is a scenic town convenietly located nearby (40-minute train commute), and our Cesarine's lovely home was conveniently located in the heart of Bologna. We enjoyed an excellent four-course meal with tradional Bolognaise recipes (including the famous, delcious sauce!), and as we prepared and enjoyed our meal together with Margherita, we appreciated learning some fantastic cooking tips for Italian cuisine while learning more about Bologna and Italian traditions. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, especially families, as our family will always cherish this very special and memorable Thanksgiving meal we celebated together with lovely Cesarine Margherita. Our experience with Paola was exceptional! In addition to her friendly welcome and charming manner, she is an excellent teacher who explains the steps behind pasta-making and the rationale behind them, clearly and confidently. We thoroughly enjoyed both the learning component (Lasagne with Homemade Green Pasta and Bolognese style Ragu and Bechamel Sauces) and the dining experience at Paola's well-appointed table. She even included lovely homemade treats and Lambrusco wine with the meal! As retired educators and avid home cooks ourselves, we felt very fortunate to have such a fun-loving and encouraging teacher as Paola!

Alessandra C., and this experience was excellent. Alessandra had an appetizer waiting for us with great wine. She was kind and patient when teaching us some new skills and explained the process of making the food while providing some history along the way. Her home was cleaned and all the food was delicious. I can't wait for my next trip to Bologna to cook with her again!

My husband and I had the most amazing time with Barbara and Paola! From the very first moment we met till the end, they made us feel at home. The food they prepared was so delicious!!! They even shared the recipes with us which was very kind. I totally recommend this activity to everyone 💯 💯 💯. Excellent!!! We are vey happy with this booking!

Taking a cooking class with Paola was a fantastic experience. This was our first class with a Cesarine hostess, and we were totally impressed. From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a terrific experience. Paola was lovely, and her home was beautiful. It was like visiting a friend. We loved every moment of cooking, loved everything we ate, and were totally impressed with the skills we learned. Paola's english was perfect, and she explained every step in a simple and understandable manner. The table was beautifully set, and Paola added her own touches to our food, to make the meal complete. I was pleasantly surprised when the tiramisu I made turned out perfectly! We look forward to our next Cesarine class, and would highly recommend this to others. A MUST DO when in Bologna.

Amazing experience! Food was delicious and Elena and her husband Saverio, were very kind and friendly. You can tell they have lot of experience delivering these classes and everything was very well organized. The house is beautiful and they have an awesome terraze. I definitely recommend it!
