Ga met onze deskundige gidsen op reis door Waterford en ontdek de geweldige verhalen van de oudste stad van Ierland. De Epic Walking Tour is een leuke en interactieve tour die 1000 jaar geschiedenis in 1000 stappen behandelt - van de Vikingen tot de Victorianen. Zeer populair bij gezinnen, de Epic Walking tour is een leuke en boeiende tour die de bezoekers zal vermaken met tal van fotomogelijkheden. Hier in de Vikingdriehoek zullen bezoekers oorlogvoerende Vikingen tegenkomen, zich laten inspireren door middeleeuwse wonderen en elegante Georgische architectuur observeren terwijl ze onze Vikingdriehoek verkennen. De 45 minuten durende all-weather wandeltocht begint voor het Bishop's Palace, gelegen aan de Mall (X91 E279).

De gids zal de buitenkant van deze Viking-toren laten zien en het mogelijk maken om foto's te maken met de Viking Longboat op de site.
Geïntroduceerd in de ontvangsthal van dit Georgische paleis en een korte geschiedenis van zijn leven tot nu toe gegeven.
Bracht door de Vikingdriehoek, stopte bij alle verschillende locaties en gaf de geschiedenis, van Vikingen tot Victorianen, een 1000 jaar geschiedenis in 1000 passen.

Fairly quick tour of the triangle with a few stops along the way. Our guide Liam was terrific. He had great historical stories with great Irish humor thrown in and made sure to connect with everyone on the tour. Recommend taking the tour.

Wow! So much history in a quaint little town and packed into such a small area. The tour only takes 45 minutes and covers a vast history of the town of Waterford. The walking is easy and mostly flat, good for strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. The price was inexpensive for the volume of history you receive. Our tour guide was informative and very polite and helpful. The tour group was small for a weekend, only 4 of us!
