Onze reis begint bij het opvallende Humboldt Forum, gevestigd in het prachtig gerestaureerde Berlijnse stadspaleis. Hier stuit je op een schilderachtig geheim — een afgelegen wintermarkt omringd door een dromerige vertoning van fonkelende lichten, waardoor het een ideale plek is om je eerste vakantiefoto te maken!
Alexanderplatz
Bekijk de TV-toren, Alexanderplatz, Neptunbrunnen en het Rotes Rathaus (Rode Stadhuis) en passeer een van de levendigste kerstmarkten van Berlijn, compleet met een torenhoog reuzenrad, een schaatsbaan en een feestelijke sfeer tegen de achtergrond van de historische skyline van de stad.
Nikolaiviertel
Wandel door de oudste wijk van Berlijn. Met zijn middeleeuwse architectuur, smalle met stenen geplaveide steegjes en charmante kerstmarkt voelt deze plek alsof het rechtstreeks uit een wintersprookje komt. Je gids vertelt boeiende verhalen over het ontstaan van Berlijn, unieke Duitse kersttradities en een paar leuke seizoenshapjes. Om u te helpen gezellig te blijven, kunt u ook genieten van een gratis warme kop gekruide glühwein — of een alcoholvrije versie, als u wilt — terwijl u geniet van de feestelijke omgeving.

Omgeven door elegante witte paviljoens, twinkelende lichten en prachtige historische architectuur, is deze markt een echt vakantiecentrum. Na de introductie van uw gids bent u vrij om op uw gemak te dwalen — of dat nu betekent dat u moet winkelen voor ambachtelijke schatten, feestelijke traktaties moet verwennen of genieten van een ander warm kopje Glühwein. Christmas market tour
Our tour guide was lovely and informative but we were really just rushed through the markets, too worried about following her in the crowds to really look. One of the markets we didn’t even enter. I just don’t think it’s worthwhile and easier to do it yourself

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Julia, was fantastic at keeping us all together and explaining the foods, drinks, various markets, and overall history. I had gone on other market tours and this was by far the best and overall bang for buck.

Don’t bother
Tour guide was great however i personally think don’t bother and just explore the Christmas markets on your own. Guide doesn’t give a tour of the Christmas markets just walks you to each Christmas market and then you have a limited time to explore before heading to the next one. Lots of random stops to talk about Christmas history which I wasn’t really interested in. I mainly wanted lots of time at the markets.

We are not sure what you expected, but it is clearly stated that we are taking you to 3 markets and talk about the history of Christmas traditions, sharing fun facts and anecdotes in between. Of course, if you are not interested in these back stories, visiting the markets individually does make more sense. Nevertheless, we hope you had a great time in Berlin. How wonderful!
We came to Berlin to spend the last days of 2019 and early 2020! We found ourselves in a magical atmosphere. We in Rome catapulted into these fairytale environments of the markets! All these houses with every good of God culinary tradition of Germany,, handicrafts, shows at all hours, mini ice skating rinks and lots of mulled wine! It was back to the emotions as a child. We recommend coming for the next Christmas holidays, you will be fascinated!

Long walk through Berlin going to the Christmas markets.
I enjoyed walking to the different markets. In England I live near Manchester and visited the German market but these are far better in Berlin. Much better choice of German food.
