Vinciguerra-gletsjer en de lagune van Témpano

Als je op zoek bent om weg te komen van alles, is deze gematigde moeilijkheids trekking zeker de excursie voor jou. Het is een 7 uur durende trektocht die je meeneemt van de vallei, door het fuegian bos tot we de vegetatie lijn passeren en je bent nors in een hooggebergtelandschap tot je de "Laguna de los Témpanos" en de Vinciguerra-gletsjer achter je hebt bereikt. Er zijn geen woorden om de schoonheid van dit landschap te beschrijven!

Onze tour begint wanneer we u rond 8.30 uur ophalen bij uw hotel en 7 km rijden in de Andorra-vallei. We zullen beginnen met wandelen door een veenland dat is geëxploiteerd en we zullen de kans krijgen om alle lagen van het veenmoeras te zien, heel typisch uit valleien gevormd door gletsjers. Onze wandeling gaat verder door de kreek "Arrojo Grande", zodra we deze oversteken, gaan we heuvelopwaarts door het magische Fuegian Forest. Halverwege vinden we weer veenmoerassen overal om ons heen in een hogere kleine vallei. We blijven lopen over de boslijn waar we eindelijk de Tempanos-lagune en achter de Vinciguerra-gletsjer met zijn ijsgrotten zullen vinden. Afhankelijk van de ijscondities zal de deskundige berggids beslissen of het veilig is om de grotten te naderen en een beetje over het ijs te lopen. In dit hoge berglandschap zullen we even rusten en genieten van onze lunchbox met wat warme dranken. Houd je ogen wijd open en kijk omhoog ... als je veel geluk hebt, zie je de koning van de Andes ... De Condor! Rond 14.00 uur beginnen we langzaam onze weg terug heuvelafwaarts. Zwervers zijn overal op het parcours te vinden, houd je ogen open, we kunnen het geluk hebben en er een zien!

This experience was beautiful from start to finish. Marcos, the guide, kindly accompanied us throughout providing explanations of the place. The trail to the glacier did so at a slow but sustained pace, respecting the times of each visitor and being attentive to every detail. The agency gave me free gloves and a backpack because mine wasn't right for the experience. Ulysses took us and brought us to the entrance to the reserve, and on the return he waited with mate and bills for the return trip to the accommodations, as we were soaked and very cold because it rained during the ascent and descent to the glacier. The experience of seeing the glacier and walking on it, is unforgettable. Thanks to the TDF adventure team, total geniuses!!! It was my first trek of difficulty and I was encouraged at all times to do it and happily concrete it. Guaranteed timeliness and experience!
Would highly recommend this activity. We had a small group of 7 people who all hiked at the same pace. Mica was very knowledgeable and a fantastic guide. We had beautiful weather and had amazing views of the scenery. The ice trekking was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend this trip!

Hiking to Vinciguerra Glacier with Juan was a awesome experience! We would recommend this for anyone visiting Ushuaia looking for an exciting and challenging hike.
Great guide and great pace set by our guide! Joaquim shared with us a plethora of knowledge about the area, answered our questions and was great company to have! Would definitely recommend to those wanting to reconnect with nature.
Absolutely loved this trek!! The guides were fantastic!! Soup T the glacier was nice!! The meat, cheese and bread were just the touch!!
What a hike. It was very demanding, steep, muddy and slippery. Our guide Diego is quiet but competent, he guided us through some very difficult terrain. When we got to the glacier, it was one of these "wow" moments, we literally stood on top of it and inside it (ice caves). Diego then cooked us a hot lunch (he carried everything up), it was delicious. The only suggestion I have is more water to be provided, we each got one bottle and it was not enough.
This was the only trekking in my trip that I hired someone to get me there. It was a wise decision. Different from other trails, Vinciguerra is not an easy access point and the trail is not well marked. That said, the trekking is simply amazing. You will probably see an iced lake, lots of snow, and the felling of getting in the top of Vinciguerra is impossible to describe. Just getting there you will know. Worths every penny spent! We did the trekking with agency Tolkeyen Patagonia, the same had snack included. The trail is amazing, the day we went ended up snowing even being summer and managed to get even more beautiful. The trail is very tight so it is good to have certain physical preparation, more can be done if you have the disposition, it was very cold the day we went and the tour lasts all day. We paid 2500 pesos.
