Nationaal Park Tierra del Fuego en trein naar het einde van de wereld (INBEGREPEN)
Beschrijving
Beleef de magie van het park, gelegen tussen bossen, zee en bergen, met prachtige wandelingen midden in de natuur en beleef de geschiedenis opnieuw in de Prisoner Train. We vertrekken vanuit Ushuaia via de Nationale Route 3, die ons gedurende onze hele reis zal vergezellen. Onze eerste stop is het Einde van de Wereld Station, waar u aan boord gaat van de oude Gevangenentrein, een toeristentrein van een uur waarin u een deel van de geschiedenis van Ushuaia herbeleeft. Hierna bezoeken we de baai van Ensenada, een plek waar bergen, bossen en zee samenkomen in één plaatje. Ook vindt u hier het beroemde End of the World Post Office, dat af en toe open is om een ansichtkaart vanaf het einde van de wereld te versturen. We vervolgen onze weg richting het Acigami-meer, omgeven door bossen en bergen. We wandelen langs de kust en zien aan de andere kant de grens die Argentinië en Chili scheidt. De laatste stop is Lapataia Bay, het eindpunt van Nationale Route 3 en ook van de karakteristieke Pan-American Highway die Alaska verbindt met het zuiden van Zuid-Amerika.

Het is een charmante baai in het Beaglekanaal, waar bos, bergen en zee samenkomen. De Lapataia-baai is de laatste kilometer van de Pan-American Highway (en route nr. 3), die van Alaska naar de zuidpunt van dit nationale park loopt en de aankomst bij het einde van de wereld markeert.
Ook bekend als het Acigami (rots) gletsjermeer, een van de meest onvergetelijke ansichtkaarten in Vuurland. We lopen langs de kust en hier kunt u direct de politieke scheiding van het eiland zien, aangezien de meridiaan die ons scheidt van buurland Chili er vlak voor ons langs loopt.
In de baai van Ensenada Zaratiegui kunt u de combinatie van verschillende omgevingen bewonderen die dit nationale park uniek maakt: de Andes, het bos en de zee allemaal op één plek. Ook is er het beroemde postkantoor aan het einde van de wereld gevestigd. Als het open is, kunt u daar uw paspoort laten afstempelen of een ansichtkaart vanaf het einde van de wereld versturen.
We komen aan bij het station Einde van de Wereld, waar u een ritje maakt in de oude gevangenentrein, die nu is omgebouwd tot een toeristentreintje. Op deze trein kunt u een deel van de geschiedenis van de oorsprong van Ushuaia herbeleven.
***BELANGRIJK*** Tijdens het winterseizoen wordt de tour aangepast omdat de baai van Ensenada en enkele paden in het park gesloten zijn vanwege de sneeuwval.

Incredible and unforgettable tour! Franco, the guide, was very helpful and friendly, taking great photos and giving very interesting explanations for the group. The train ride was also very nice, where we could hear more about the history of the city

The park visit was incredible, and I absolutely loved our guide Romina and the whole organisation, so it was totally worth the money and I absolutely enjoyed the experience ❤️ the train was the cherry on top but it is also important to highlight that we had various stops inside the park which I think was incredible.

Ushuaia is a postcard. All the places are spectacular. The tour is definitely worth it; having logistics for all the visits and only worrying about enjoying is fantastic.

The tour to the Land of Fire National Park has beautiful landscapes. The train to the end of the world is a separate show . We walked to know the Bay of Lapataia, Lake Roca. Our guide Franco had extensive knowledge about the history of that beautiful place!
