De Plaza de las tendillas is het centrum van de stad, de gebouwen vallen op, evenals het standbeeld van El Gran Capitan in het midden van het plein.

De enige verbinding die beide delen van de stad gedurende 20 eeuwen hebben gehad. Het maakte deel uit van de Via Augusta en is een van de belangrijkste monumenten in de stad.
Een fort gebouwd in 1328 door Alfonso XI, de katholieke vorsten hebben er acht jaar gewoond, een van hun dochters werd zelfs in het Alcázar geboren.
Door UNESCO uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed sinds 1984. Gebouwd in de 8e eeuw door Abderraman I. Het belangrijkste monument in de stad.

This was the first thing we did in Cordoba and it was the perfect way to see the highlights and get an orientation of the city. Lolo is an outstanding guide and he knew the best places to stop.
We booked the hour tour and loved every minute of it. Our guide was Manuel (Lo Lo) and he was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable about this wonderful city. Please book a tour if you can as you won’t regret it!
A brilliant way to learn about the town. If you don’t know where to start exploring the history of Cordoba then this tour is a must. There are so many things that we would never have known about if all we had done was read a guidebook. Lolo was a brilliant guide, had answers for all our questions and was obviously full of pride in his historic city. Highly recommend.
We have just been on the Tuk Tuk trip in Cordoba. Our driver, Lolo was fantastic. He was really informative and made it really fun. He gave us a really good sense of where to go during our stay and showed us some real hidden gems. He is , quite rightly, very proud of Cordoba. Highly recommend.
