Dit is niet zomaar een kanotocht — het is een handgemaakte wildlife-ervaring die is ontworpen om je zintuigen te prikkelen en je opnieuw in contact te brengen met de natuur. Begin met verse Costa Ricaanse koffie bij Tree Coffee House en glijd vervolgens in stilte door de smalle regenwoudkanalen van Tortuguero in een stabiele peddelkano met rugleuningen. Spot kaaimannen, apen, toekans en meer met een verrekijker en een gecertificeerde natuuronderzoeker die de weg wijst. Elke tour is anders—dit is geen dierentuin, het is de natuur die zich in real time ontvouwt. Begin uw dag om 5:45 uur bij Tree Coffee House, op een steenworp afstand van de belangrijkste aanlegsteiger. We had an amazing tour through the four channels.
The canoe tour was wonderful and the guide Boa was great. We spent an excellent day as a family and saw many animals. Thank you very much for everything!
Wonderful experience with Boa, an incredible guide who speaks three languages, including French. We took this excursion as a family and Boa was attentive, showed us many animals, we got very close to caimans, birds, blue morphos, and learned many things about the flora and fauna of Tortuguero. Magical moment.
Very good guide - absolutely great with children and tried to include them (even though the children do not speak English). As a family with an 18-month-old child, they also made an extra group out of us - so for us, absolutely top! The provider is not the cheapest, but for the great tour, there was an additional tip! Highly recommended!

We started our trip to Costa Rica in Tortuguero. We stayed for two nights, which was enough time for us to get to know the area well. We booked two tours with Boa, our guide, who also showed us around the property and offered several different activities. We chose the boat safari and the night walk. The boat safari started at 6:30 a.m. and was a fantastic experience. Boa told us all about the nature, wildlife, plants and life in Tortuguero. He has a very friendly and personal way of sharing his knowledge, which made the boat trip even more impressive. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Boa. You also get binoculars to use during the tour. The night walk was just as enjoyable. We saw a snake, a sloth, frogs (including the famous red-eyed tree frogs), and a sleeping toucan. Once again, Boa told us all about the animals and their surroundings. The photo of the restaurant shows the place where you can find Boa and book the tours.
The tour was great! Boa puts in an incredible amount of effort and has a great deal of knowledge about what he is doing. We saw crocodiles, caimans, a lot of birds, and much more. We had the opportunity to get really close to every animal to take photos. All in all, the trip was really great. Absolute recommendation!
Boa was an awesome guide during our time in Tortuguero. He was super knowledgeable and lots of fun to hang out with. We loved the sunrise canoe tour and were glad to have Boa as our guide!
We went on a canoe tour with boa and also booked the turtle tour with him. Good guy, knows a lot about all animals, takes the time for real “national geographic moments” and can mimic great monkeys 😉 Next time I would definitely book with him again!
