De tocht door de grachten van het Tortuguero National Park biedt een magische en unieke ervaring, waarin je kunt genieten van al het natuurschoon en genieten van het landschapsniveau van de hele omgeving waarin je je zult bevinden en omringd zult zijn; beginnend bij een prachtige lagune voor de kantoren van het Tortuguero National Park, tot het oprukken langs de Tortuguero-rivier, om uiteindelijk de meest beperkte, verborgen en mooie ruimtes van de grachten binnen te gaan. Deze wandeling van ongeveer twee en een half uur wordt aangevuld, versierd en begeleid door de aanwezigheid en waarneming van verschillende diersoorten; de mogelijkheid om zoogdieren, reptielen, vogels en nog veel meer te observeren is volledig gegarandeerd. We took the canoe trip through Tortuguero at the end of July. They were very kind and the tour was very nice. We saw several caimans and different animals typical of the area. It was worth it!
Magnificent, just hope that it doesn't rain. But it is a beautiful experience.
We loved Luis! He gave us a tour with all kinds of explanations, treated us with great care, and took us near all the curiosities he found. Highly recommended. We would have liked to book more activities with him. Thanks for everything, Luis.

Highly recommended tour, especially with Arturo. We were able to see many little animals and Arturo explained a lot of things to us about them and about the Tortuguero area. He also gave off very good vibes and the tour was super enjoyable.
Good organization (Jacob's Tours) and nice trip through the canals of Tortuguero NP. However, 2$ was asked for the canoe which we have strongly refused to pay. This was accepted mutteringly. So don't pay. Furthermore nice tour of 2 and a half hours.
Hello, pura vida! We are very sorry, but our company is not Jacob Tours—we are Don Chico Tours. It’s important for us to explain that we don’t charge extra fees on our tours, like some other “companies and guides” do (unfortunately, some of these people often work informally). On our canoe tour, there is no charge of any kind for using the canoe; we have our own equipment, including several canoes, paddles, life jackets, rain ponchos, and more. We also do not charge for “park admission” or “tickets” on our turtle tour, since tourists are not required to pay for such things on this tour (although there are those who lead tourists to believe that they do)
At dawn, we toured the canals of Tortuguero National Park by rowboat and were able to observe numerous animals—monkeys, sloths, herons, toucans, iguanas, basilisks, caimans, and more—in their natural habitat. Our guide answered all our questions and shared fascinating facts about the local flora and fauna, also allowing us to enjoy the sounds of nature waking up and the serenity of this authentic and timeless moment!
It was very interesting and the views were very pretty, the guide (David) explained everything to us very well and was very friendly.
We met at the Tortuguero pier, Luis, our guide, immediately proved to be friendly and helpful. The tour was very nice and is to be recommended!
2 tours done! The canal tour and a turtle tour. Both guides were good! Erick is a friendly boy who speaks good English and talks a lot about life in Tortugero and Luis is a driven boy who cares a lot about the welfare of the turtles! We had a great day
