Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je hotel in het centrum van Ushuaia, waar je een spannende rit zult maken over de laatste 4,5 mijl. Het park heeft een dramatisch landschap, met watervallen, bossen, bergen en gletsjers. De Senda Costera (kustpad), die Ensenada Bay verbindt met Lapataia Bay op Lago Roca, is een populaire wandelroute in het park. Bossen van Antarctische beuken, lenga beuken en coihue in de lagere delen van het park herbergen veel diersoorten. Er is altijd een professionele gids bij als je vragen hebt.

Bij het verlaten van Ushuaia, richting het zuidwesten, reizen we langs nationale route nr. 3, richting Tierra del Fuego National Park. Geniet onderweg van het mooie uitzicht op de meren, lagunes en rivieren. Ga langs de helling van de berg Susana en wees getuige van het historische werk van de gevangenen van de oude gevangenis, waar nu de Southern Fuegian Railway (de 'End of the World Train') zich bevindt.
Over de elf kilometer die de ingang van het park en de stad Ushuaia scheiden, zullen we een stop maken in de buurt van het Centro Hípico (Riding Club), waar we zullen genieten van een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht op het Beagle-kanaal, het schiereiland van Ushuaia en de bruggen `, Willie's en Les Eclauriers' Islands.
Nadat we de brug van de rivier de Pipo zijn overgestoken, naast de golfclub van Ushuaia, komen we aan bij het End of the World Station. Degenen die kiezen voor de Einde van de Wereld-treinreis beginnen aan een spannende reis door het Nationaal Park Tierra del Fuego. Vanaf deze plek, aan het einde van nationale route nr. 3, beginnen we aan onze terugkeer naar de stad Ushuaia.

Although we got rained out most of the trip. The train ride was amazing. Was lucky to be able to see a group of wild horses. The national park looks like a painting !! Highly recommend it.
The experience included breathtaking views, a knowledgeable and interesting guide explaining the landscape, indigenous people and political plays for the territory. The train ride had breathtaking views of a winding river among the mountains.
To escape from the heat of the city with my wife we went to the Passo del Tonale at the Sporting hotel on the suggestion of friends who had already stayed. Welcoming was great and immediately we felt at home. Very nice room, attention to detail, clean and tidy in Alpine style. Excellent cuisine with a choice of traditional mountain and non-mountain dishes; the staff in the room very professional, polite and available to meet every customer need. The brand new Skyspa is a true oasis to relax and regenerate with exceptional mountain views. The very professional animation available and not intrusive with excursion proposals suitable for everyone. We arrived customers and left friends!!
They didn't come by us to the hotel, we waited 1 hour outside, we talked a thousand times and they told us to wait there, after an hour they sent us a taxi which we had to pay and we arrived an hour later to reach the group, we lost 1 hour of tour and what we had to pay the taxi, very bad Service very bad communication, I would not hire them again.
Parquet Forest is very beautiful and has very nice views. Lapataia Bay and its walkway are very beautiful for taking photos.
A wonderful train ride. The landscape is charming, like something out of a story, with much to see on the way to the end of the World. Looking forward to returning!

Incredible place and train fabulous place really enjoyed the area the Train was fabulous especially as one of the Engines was made in Wales 🏴 However the train journey out was great but we had to wait a considerable time for our return journey I would recommend having the train out but get your Transport to pick you up at the other end We loved the Railway station and the surrounding district and the Prisoners/actors that you have the photos with which are not expensive.

Terra del Fuego National Park we did with microbus tour Enterprise where the guide was explaining everything and stopping at every attractive point so we could walk and take pictures. We get to the post office that opens in the summer season , where we can stamp the passport with the seal of the end of the world . Finally we end the tour with a ride by train, which is paid the part. We will see the landscape and listen to the prison history of the time. Very interesting. At the end of the train line, the tour operators wait for us in the minibus to return to the hotel. Tour of approximately 6h.
