Deze ultieme Forbidden City kleine groepstour neemt je mee naar 18 paleizen. Het geeft je in 4 uur een dieper inzicht in hoe de Verboden Stad eruit ziet en de cultuur erachter. De Verboden Stad beperkt nu de dagelijkse kaartverkoop. Met deze tour, geen zorgen over tickets.

U kunt deelnemen aan de tour op het aangewezen ontmoetingspunt of genieten van een ochtend pick-up van uw Beijing hotel lobby. Neem eerst een comfortabel tourvoertuig met je Gids naar het Tiananmenplein. Als 's werelds grootste stedelijke openbare plein ligt het precies op de centrale as van Beijing. De iconische Tiananmen Gate staat aan de noordelijke rand, direct tegenover de Verboden Stad. Rondom het plein staan monumentale gebouwen : de Grote Hal van het Volk in het westen en het Nationaal Museum van China in het oosten. In het midden staat het Monument voor de Volkshelden. Deze symbolische site draagt een diepgaande moderne Chinese geschiedenis met zich mee en biedt prachtige fotomogelijkheden. Belangrijke herinnering : Het Tiananmenplein kent enorme bezoekersaantallen tijdens de zomervakantie van China (juli en augustus), de eerste meidag en de nationale feestdag (1-7 oktober). Bereid u voor op lange wachttijden in de wachtrijen. Opmerking : Geldig paspoort / ID is vereist om de veiligheidscontroles te passeren voor binnenkomst.
Daarna wandel je naar de Verboden Stad, een van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Beijing. Ook bekend als het Paleismuseum, herbergt het ongeveer 10.000 kamers. Meer dan 500 jaar diende het als residentie van 24 keizers van de Ming- en Qing-dynastieën. Uw professionele Gids zal zijn diepgaande geschiedenis delen. De tour beslaat in totaal 18 paleizen; raadpleeg de routebeschrijving voor alle details. Houd er rekening mee dat de tour eindigt in de Verboden Stad. Transfer terug naar uw hotel is op eigen gelegenheid.

- Tickets voor de Verboden Stad vereisen 168 uur (7 dagen) van tevoren reservering op echte naam en zijn vaak snel uitverkocht. Wij raden u ten zeerste aan uw tour zo vroeg mogelijk te boeken. Anders moeten internationale bezoekers mogelijk in de rij staan bij de ingang om ter plaatse tickets te kopen.

Sally was an amazing guide. She explained many interesting facts about the sites we visited. Moreover, since the place was very crowded, she was super good in being able to direct us in areas where there were much less people, finding hidden gems and places we wouldn’t expect. We had an absolutely incredible day exploring Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City with our guide Jeffrey. From the very start, everything was perfectly organised, and we really appreciated the smooth ticket handling which saved us lots of waiting time. Standing on Tiananmen Square was such a powerful, moving experience; our guide shared valuable background stories that helped us truly understand the significance of this iconic landmark. Moving on to the Forbidden City, we were blown away by the grand scale, magnificent architecture and centuries‑old imperial history. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient and engaging, bringing ancient royal stories to life instead of just listing facts. They walked us through the main halls, pointed out hidden cultural details, recommended wonderful photo spots, and thoughtfully answered every single one of our countless questions. The pace was flexible, so we could stop to admire the views whenever we wanted. Without a knowledgeable local guide, we would have only seen buildings without grasping the rich history behind them.
