In de ochtend begroeten uw Gids en chauffeur u in uw lobby van het hotel en begeleiden u op een dag van naadloze, zorgeloze transfers. Laten we beginnen bij het Tiananmenplein, het hart van de historische as en het moderne machtscentrum van Beijing. Steek Chang'an Avenue over om het plein op te gaan en bewonder de monumentale gebouwen die de hoogste architectonische normen van China laten zien. Elk oriëntatiepunt dat we passeren heeft een symbolische betekenis en benadrukt de rol van het plein als het spirituele hart van de natie.

Stap binnen in de prachtige Verboden Stad (Paleismuseum), het ultieme keizerlijke paleis ter wereld. Gedurende zijn 500 jaar als het machtscentrum van 1420 tot 1911 AD, regeerden hier achtereenvolgens 24 keizers uit de Ming- en Qing-dynastieën, die getuige waren van de opkomst, piek en fatale val van het rijk. Navigeren door de legendarische 9.999 kamers kan overweldigend zijn, maar onze door Experts geleide, fast-track route zorgt ervoor dat u soepel de absolute hoogtepunten ervaart zonder een beat te missen. Opmerking : Voor vertrek op maandag, wanneer de Verboden Stad gesloten is, draaien we rond om het Zomerpaleis te verkennen, het toevluchtsoord van de keizer aan het meer.
Dit was geen executieplaats zoals geruchten, maar het toneel voor keizerlijke ceremonies, net als het gazon van het Witte Huis. Hier vaardigde de keizer decreten uit en verwelkomde zegevierende legers thuis.

Gratis ophalen en wegbrengen bij de lobby van uw hotel in het centrum. Uw ophaaltijd wordt een dag van tevoren bevestigd. Als uw hotel niet in de lijst staat, geef dan de naam en het adres op in speciale vereisten.

- Gratis ophalen en wegbrengen zijn inbegrepen in uw hotel in het centrum. Als uw hotel zich buiten dit gebied bevindt, zijn er extra kilometervergoedingen van toepassing, of kunt u zich bij ons voegen op een aangewezen ontmoetingspunt. Zorg dat u 5 minuten voor de ophaaltijd klaarstaat die op de vorige dag is bevestigd. No-shows worden niet terugbetaald.
- De Verboden Stad is op maandag gesloten. Voor vertrek op maandag bezoeken we het Summer Palace en de Mutianyu Great Wall.
- De Verboden Stad vereist een reservering op echte naam 7 dagen van tevoren en tickets zijn gemakkelijk uitverkocht. We raden u ten zeerste aan uw tour zo vroeg mogelijk te boeken; anders moeten internationale reizigers mogelijk in de rij staan om ter plaatse tickets te kopen.
- Geef uw nauwkeurige paspoortgegevens op voor het boeken van tickets op echte naam en zorg ervoor dat u hetzelfde geldige identiteitsbewijs bij u hebt op de dag van de tour; anders zal het schilderachtige gebied de toegang weigeren.
- Chinese staatsburgers, waaronder gasten uit Hongkong, Macau en Taiwan, dienen hun officiële Chinese naam op te geven en ten minste 7 dagen van tevoren te reserveren.
- Uw Expert Gids zal u helpen om door de veiligheidscontroles op het Tiananmenplein te briesen. Laat je tas in de auto en draag alleen je paspoort en flessen water om de voortgang te versnellen.
- Great Wall Rodelen : Voor de veiligheid is het niet beschikbaar voor gasten ouder dan 60, zwangere vrouwen en kinderen jonger dan 3. Kinderen van 3 tot 10 jaar mogen meerijden onder begeleiding van een volwassene. Maak je geen zorgen als de rodelbaan niets voor jou is – de kabelbaan of stoeltjeslift is voor iedereen geschikt.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to China. Visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City gave us a fascinating insight into China’s rich history, culture, and imperial heritage. Walking through the magnificent halls and courtyards of the Forbidden City really brought centuries of history to life. The highlight, however, was hiking along the Great Wall. Standing on one of the world’s greatest engineering achievements was an unforgettable experience. The views were breathtaking, and walking along the ancient stone pathways and watchtowers gave us a real appreciation of the history, scale, and effort that went into building it. It was both inspiring and rewarding. Everything was well organized, our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, and the day ran smoothly from start to finish. We left with unforgettable memories and a much deeper appreciation for China’s incredible history. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jenny was our guide for the Forbidden City tour and she did a wonderful job. She explained all the details very clearly in English and she herself and the company were very accommodative of our group. Although the weather restricted some of the activities on the tour they provided alternatives for us to make up for this. I would definitely recommend Jenny and this company for tours.

Unfortunately weather came I the way. Because of a typhoon, all outdoor attractions were closed. No tianenmen square, no Great Wall. The short window only allowed forbidden city to be squeezed in. Our guide Helen did the best she could under the circumstances. We couldn’t have asked for me. The operator agreed to refund 60% of the program cost.

Some of the items on our original itinerary such as a visit to the the Summer Palace were canceled due to the weather We were still able to visit Lama Temple and the Temple of Heaven. We also saw the Bird’s Nest and the Olympic area. This was not originally scheduled, but are glad we went as it was on our list of things to do in Beijing. Murphy was our guide and he as great.

The historic city of Beijing is full of iconic sites that demand our attention. This all-inclusive tour hits the highlights. Murphy, our guide, was chatty and helpful. We learned a lot about Chinese history, culture, and philosophy. The significance of these sites came into focus through his commentary. My wife and I chose the small group tour for the opportunity to meet other travelers from around the world. This was as much a highlight as the Beijing attractions.
