'S Ochtends zullen uw gids en privéauto met chauffeur u ontmoeten in de lobby van uw hotel. De eerste plaats waar u het Tiananmen-plein bezoekt, het grootste stadsplein ter wereld. Bovendien zie je langs de beroemde Chang'an Street The Great Hall of People en The National Museum (vroeger Chinese geschiedenis en revolutie museum genoemd). Bovendien is het midden van het plein het Mausoleum van voorzitter Mao.

Vanaf de Tiananmen Poort kun je richting de Verboden Stad (het grootste Keizerlijke Paleis ter wereld) lopen. Er zijn 9999,5 kamers binnen, en met meer dan 600 jaar geschiedenis. Er waren in totaal 24 Chinese keizers die leefden en heersten over het land in deze plaats van de Ming-dynastie tot de Qing-dynastie). Het is de moeite waard om een paar uur door te brengen om het hoogtepunt van de Verboden Stad te bezoeken. Opmerking : De Verboden Stad sluit elke maandag. Als uw tourdatum op een maandag valt, bezoeken we in plaats daarvan Jingshan Hill, waar u kunt genieten van een volledig vogelperspectief op de Verboden Stad.

Tijdens de lunch neemt uw gids u mee naar een lokaal restaurant voor een lokale authentieke maaltijd. 'S Middags bezoekt u een van de zeven wonderen ter wereld - de Grote Muur van Mutianyu. Je gids neemt je mee naar een minder drukke gedeelte Great Wall waar je ongeveer 2 uur kunt wandelen. Van de stad naar de Grote Muur duurt ongeveer 1,5 uur rijtijd. Je neemt de kabelbaan tot halverwege en begint dan te genieten van je wandeltocht. Dan neemt u ook de kabelbaan op uw weg terug. Dit bespaart u zeker tijd en energie. Na de dagtour sturen je chauffeur en gids je terug naar het hotel.

- Paspoortnaam, nummer is vereist op het moment van boeking voor alle deelnemers, Zorg ervoor dat u tijdens uw reis hetzelfde geldige ID-document bij u hebt, anders kan u de toegang tot de schilderachtige plekken worden geweigerd.
- Houd er rekening mee dat Chinese staatsburgers, waaronder bezoekers uit Hongkong, Macau en Taiwan, 7 dagen van tevoren tickets voor de Verboden Stad moeten reserveren. Wij kunnen geen boekingen accepteren die binnen 7 dagen na de bezoekdatum zijn gemaakt.
- Tickets voor de Verboden Stad vereisen 168 uur (7 dagen) van tevoren reservering op echte naam en zijn vaak snel uitverkocht. Wij raden u ten zeerste aan uw tour zo vroeg mogelijk te boeken. Anders moeten internationale bezoekers mogelijk in de rij staan bij de ingang om ter plaatse tickets te kopen.
- Rodelen niet beschikbaar voor gasten ouder dan 60, zwangere vrouwen en kinderen jonger dan 3, evenals bij slecht weer of lange wachtrijen. Retour stoeltjeslift / kabelbaan beschikbaar in plaats daarvan.
- Boek zorgvuldig als u 's avonds een trein, vlucht of andere arrangementen heeft. De tour kan om verschillende redenen vertraging oplopen.
- Deze ervaring is weersafhankelijk. Bij annulering vanwege zware weersomstandigheden kunt u een alternatieve reisdatum of tour kiezen of een volledige terugbetaling ontvangen.
- Over de kabelbaan : 1) Stoeltjeslift omhoog + Stoeltjeslift omlaag of omlaag schuiven. 2) Kabelbaan omhoog + kabelbaan omlaag. U kunt kiezen voor de ene OF de andere.

Despite heavy rain Lucy was a fantastic guide. Her English & historical knowledge made this trip a highlight of our visit.
The Wall is the what makes this trip. We almost missed out due to afternoon rainstorms but Maggie kept our group focused while waiting for the skies to clear. The Forbidden City was nice to see and having Maggie's insights are what make the tour worthwhile. As for Tiananmen Square, you really just look at it from across the street while preparing to enter FC so not sure what my expectations were. Yes, Maggie had great information about it as well. Lunch was a welcome stop just before hitting the wall. I could have done with out the Jade sales store visit but it was located on the first floor. Lunch was on the second floor. While we enjoyed our time and would do it again, I did have some misconceptions about the different tour options. The cheaper option with more people called for meeting the group at the Grand Hotel. I opted for the the more expensive option to get picked up at my hotel. I wanted this so we could leave our day bag on the transportation. Unfortunately the pick up just meant Maggie meeting us at my hotel and then walking the 2 blocks to the cheaper option meeting spot. We ended up meeting the transportation only for the wall excursion. Carrying a day bag doesn't seem like a big deal but the first half of the tour was HOT and you receive extra scrutiny from the many security checkpoints. I probably would not have even brought it to begin with if it were more clear. All things considered, I would opt for the cheaper option next time. All of this to say, the experiences of visiting the sites were great. Maggie was excellent. If I ever find myself in Beijing again, we will look to see what Maggie is up to.

I had an amazing time, I’d highly recommend this tour. It started with a message the day before from our tour guide Maggie with clear instructions on where and when to meet her. After the taxi dropped us at the wrong building Maggie came to find us and directed us to the group. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and organized with our tickets for each destination. We listened to her via an earpiece and an highlight for me was the Imperial garden. Even though it was very hot in the morning she directed us to shaded spots and we were able to stick together and follow her and no one got lost. After a great lunch we headed to the Great Wall. Due to poor weather we had to wait over an hour for the chair lift to open so we all waited patiently, getting to know each other better whilst praying we would make it. We got up there with 35mins til closing so Maggie directed us to the best spots to make the most of our short time and we all managed to take the best pictures and make it back down on the last chair lift before it closed! A side note: Maggie also got my drinks refunded at lunch as I bought them before realizing they were included- what a superstar! She really went above and beyond for her customers and enjoyed her day with us.
Maggie is a very warm, human and empathic tour guide! She lead us with great attitude in our visits of the day. 100% recommend.

We had a great time on the tour. Our tour guide , Nancy, was the best. She made our whole experience enjoyable and helped us out with photos, recommendations and much more. Our driver, Mr. Xu, was courteous, professional and always made sure we had ice cold water to help us keep hydrated in the summer heat. I would highly recommend this tour.
