Deze privétour van een hele dag omvat vier belangrijke UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocaties in Beijing. Het omvat een rondleiding over het Tiananmenplein, plus bezoeken aan de Verboden Stad, de Tempel van de Hemel en het Zomerpaleis. De Verboden Stad is elke maandag gesloten. In dat geval bezoeken we het Tiananmenplein, de Lamatempel, het Zomerpaleis en de Tempel van de Hemel. Alle entreegelden, heerlijke lokale lunch, privé Gids en privé transfer service zijn volledig inbegrepen.

Uw vriendelijke Gids zal u ontmoeten in uw Beijing hotel in de ochtend. Tijdens piekperiodes : april voorjaarsvakantie, juli–augustus zomervakantie, Chinese Dag van de Arbeid (1–7 mei), Nationale feestdag (1–7 oktober) en Lente Festival (half februari), zullen we genieten van een probleemloos drive-by uitzicht op het Tiananmenplein om lange veiligheidsrijen te vermijden die vaak 1-3 uur duren om binnen te komen. Je krijgt nog steeds een geweldig uitzicht op alle bezienswaardigheden: de Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Monument voor de Volkshelden, Tiananmen Rostrum, Grote Zaal van het Volk en het Nationaal Museum van China. Wij bieden gratis reservering codes voor de avond sessie op Tiananmen Square. Vraag gewoon uw Gids om de code om zelfstandig te bezoeken na de tour. Op alle andere daldagen gaan we het Tiananmenplein op voor een wandeltocht.
Daarna gaan we verder naar het Keizerlijk Paleis (Verboden Stad) — ’s werelds grootste en best bewaarde oude keizerlijke complex, met meer dan 500 jaar geschiedenis. Gebouwd tussen 1406 en 1420, is het paleis talloze malen beschadigd, geplunderd, herbouwd en gerestaureerd. Hierdoor dateert het grootste deel van de bestaande architectuur vanaf de 18e eeuw.
Na de lunch gaan we verder naar het Summer Palace — een van China’s grootste keizerlijke tuinen. Oorspronkelijk gebouwd als koninklijk toevluchtsoord en tijdelijke residentie voor keizers van de Qing-dynastie, Wandel door de tuin om het prachtige landschap te bewonderen.
Tot slot bezoeken we de **Tempel van de Hemel** — waar oude keizers baden voor nationale vrede en overvloedige oogsten. Gelegen in het zuiden van Beijing, is het al meer dan vijf eeuwen een van de heiligste plaatsen van China. Dit prachtige complex diende als het belangrijkste offeraltaar voor de Ming- en Qing-keizers.

Deze tour biedt alleen hotel pick-up en drop-off diensten in de binnenstad. Als uw hotel niet in de lijst staat, vermeld dan alle details in de sectie speciale vereisten.

- Tickets voor de Verboden Stad vereisen 168 uur (7 dagen) van tevoren reservering op echte naam en zijn vaak snel uitverkocht. Wij raden u ten zeerste aan uw tour zo vroeg mogelijk te boeken. Anders moeten internationale bezoekers mogelijk in de rij staan bij de ingang om ter plaatse tickets te kopen.

Our guide Bobo Cao was fabulous, we travelled to Beijing peak holiday season, peak crowds. she led us expertly through crowds and with great suggestions what was worth queuing for when we had to. In between attractions she gave us so much marvelous historical and cultural informations in the comfort of AC transport, and at all historical sites. Answered all our questions, and then gave us great ideas of other places we should visit. We did them all Bobo, thank you and I will always remember the dragon lady and the walk way which was his holiday photos ! Highly recommend this lady, who I’d now consider a friend. Our guide Sunny was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and cultural information throughout the day. She also took us to a tea tasting and an acrobatics show, and even ordered delicious local food for us to try.
