Dagexcursie naar drie zuidelijke regio's van Armenië: Ararat, Vayots Dzor en Syunik. De eerste stop is bij het Khor Virap-klooster in de Ararat-vallei. Hier begon de christelijke geschiedenis van Armenië in het begin van de 4e eeuw. Behalve het klooster zul je ook de ondergrondse kerker bezoeken, waar St. Gregory de Illuminator 13 jaar werd bewaard. Het uitkijkpunt hier heeft een van de beste uitzichten op de berg Ararat. Je vervolgt je weg naar de pittoreske Gnishik-kloof en bereikt het Noravank-klooster omgeven door rode rotsen. Later lunch je in een authentiek restaurant in de buurt van de Arpa-rivier en vervolg je de weg naar de belangrijkste bestemming van de dag - het middeleeuwse klooster van Tatev. Vanuit het dorp Halidzor neemt u de langste kabelbaan ter wereld en vliegt u daar over de Vorotan-kloof. Duur: 13-14 uur Totale afstand: 520 km

Het middeleeuwse klooster bevindt zich in de rode kloof van de rivier de Gnishik. Hier kan elke bezoeker de harmonieuze relatie tussen architectuur en de natuur voelen.
Vlucht over de Vorotan-kloof met de langste kabelbaan ter wereld. Het duurt 15 minuten om de andere kant van de kloof te bereiken op een afstand van 5,5 kilometer. De prijs voor het ticket varieert gedurende het jaar.
De belangrijkste bestemming van de dag - middeleeuws klooster van Tatev aan de andere kant van de Vorotan-kloof.

It was an amazing tour. Comfortable car, an exceptionally amazing guide who took us to all the places in the package and breathtaking views. This private tour was all we wanted and expected from our trip to Armenia. Especially the journey, snow covered mountains, snow steams and cold winds made it much more memorable. Gor was our driver-cum- guide and he is a gem of a person. We talked all through our journey of 12-13 hours knowing about all what this tour and Armenia has to offer. Associate was great and cooperative but many commitments made in the booking list was news to him. Like food and drinks included, free WiFi etc. We had to pay for food and drinks. It is very frustrating to tell him that these are your inclusions and them see a doubtful face. I would never recommend Viator.
