Vanaf Labuan Bajo halen we je vroeg in de ochtend direct op bij je hotel en brengen je naar de haven, waar je avontuur begint. Vanaf de steiger stap je aan boord van een comfortabele speedboot en ga je op pad om de natuurwonderen van Komodo National Park te verkennen - met minder drukte en meer tijd om van elke bestemming te genieten. Trekking op Padar Island is een van de hoogtepunten van elke Komodo tour. Na een korte wandeling over het ruige pad van het eiland wordt u beloond met een van de meest iconische uitzichten in Indonesië — een prachtig panorama van drie gebogen baaien met stranden in verschillende kleuren: wit, zwart en roze. De trek duurt ongeveer 20–30 minuten en is voor de meeste fitnessniveaus beheersbaar, vooral met korte pauzes onderweg. Trekking om Komodo Draken te Zien Maak je klaar voor een onvergetelijk avontuur terwijl je de ruige landschappen van Komodo of Rinca Island verkent op zoek naar de legendarische Komodo draken. Taka Makassar is een adembenemende zandbank in ondiep, kristalhelder water — perfect voor een ontspannen duik- of snorkelpauze. Deze plek is beroemd om zijn zachte witte zand, zachte stromingen en verspreide koraaltuinen vol kleurrijke rifvissen. Als je geluk hebt, zie je misschien zelfs sierlijke mantaroggen in de buurt zweven. Het is een rustige plek om te drijven, snorkelen en te genieten van de schoonheid van Komodo's onderwaterparadijs.
Een van de meest onvergetelijke hoogtepunten van de reis - zwemmen naast majestueuze mantaroggen! Op plaatsen als Manta Point krijg je de kans om te snorkelen in kristalhelder water waar deze zachte reuzen vaak moeiteloos net onder het oppervlak glijden. Ze van dichtbij zien in hun natuurlijke habitat is echt magisch. Maak je geen zorgen — mantaroggen zijn volledig onschadelijk en onze ervaren gidsen helpen je ze veilig en respectvol te spotten.
Siaba Island — ook wel bekend als “Turtle Point” — is een fantastische plek om te snorkelen en zwemmen, vooral als je hoopt zeeschildpadden in hun natuurlijke omgeving te zien. De wateren rond Siaba zijn vol leven, van kleurrijke rifvissen tot prachtige koraaltuinen en natuurlijk de sierlijke zeeschildpadden die vaak voorbij zwemmen. ITh kalm, helder water en een geweldig zicht, het is een ideale plek om onderwater te verkennen of gewoon ontspannen en genieten van de rustige omgeving. Absolutely the best tour we could have hoped for! This was hands-down the finest way to see the Komodo dragons up close, walk the surreal pink sand beach, and experience some of the most beautiful snorkeling of our lives. Every stop felt like a highlight. From start to finish, the staff, crew, and guide were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. The boat itself was very comfortable and impressively fast, so we spent more time enjoying the sights and less time in transit. We did have a slight issue during the trip, but the tour operator handled it effectively and efficiently, turning a small hiccup into a non-event. That level of care and professionalism earns 5 stars on its own for truly amazing customer service. We couldn't recommend this tour more highly and will absolutely book again. We chose this tour because it was operated by Bintang Komodo, a company we had seen good reviews for. We paid IDR 4,167,801.92 for two people because we wanted to ensure a quality experience and avoid being placed on a standard shared tour, which can usually be booked through local operators or hotels for around IDR 1,300,000 to IDR 1,500,000 per person. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. On the day, we were placed in a shared tour group and felt rushed and herded from one scenic site to another. Our tour guide did not seem attentive to us and appeared more focused on flirting with an 18-year-old guest on the tour. The other guide, who was looking after guests from another group, only seemed to care for the people he had brought along. Even during meal selection, we told him what we wanted, but he held certain items back for his own group and did not give me what I had requested. We were rushed at almost every stop. At one location, the boat was late picking us up, which put the schedule behind. As a result, they skipped our final scenic stop. The guide blamed this on us taking too long at an earlier location, even though the delay was caused by the boat being late. The speedboat was also very hot and stuffy because the air conditioning was not turned on. If we wanted fresh air, we had to sit outside under the scorching sun. The only reason I am giving two stars is because we did see three manta rays, and the natural scenery itself was amazing - truly a five-star experience. However, the way we were treated was extremely disappointing, especially for the amount we paid. You may have a different experience on Bintang Komodo's early bird tour, but if you are booking a Komodo day tour that starts at 7am, I would not recommend paying extra. Based on our experience, you may simply end up being herded around with many other boats starting at the same time so might as well go with the lower price options.

Doddy and his team are a very professional and friendly bunch and they really tend to needs of the visitors. While Padar always seems to be busy, the views were stunning and the guide gave us plenty of time to enjoy on the top. The communication with the team was easy and clear also. Timing of activities are great, not crowded. The whole team are fantastic, helpful and friendly. Always looking out for the safety of all guests. The park rangers are also very good and attentive to the safety of everyone. We are very lucky and were able to see the very young, teenager, and adult Komodo in the wild.
