Begin je avontuur om 05:25 uur — eerder dan de meeste tours — zodat je voor de drukte aankomt in Komodo National Park. Met een speedbootvertrek van 06:00 uur ervaar je bestemmingen als Padar Island in een rustige, vredige sfeer – perfect om te genieten van het uitzicht, komodovaranen te spotten en te snorkelen in helder water zonder haast. We halen u op rond 5u: 25u (afhankelijk van uw hotellocatie). Zorg dat je klaarstaat in je lobby en dat je WhatsApp actief is, zodat ons team je gemakkelijk kan bereiken als dat nodig is. Bij aankomst zal onze chauffeur uw naam vermelden om een soepel en probleemloos ophaalproces te garanderen. Na een vlotte check-in wordt u begeleid naar onze speedboot, die stipt voor 06:00 uur vertrekt vanuit Labuan Bajo, zodat u kunt genieten van een vroege, comfortabele en goed georganiseerde start van uw ervaring. Gedurende de reis wordt u begeleid door 4 toegewijde teamleden : 1 kapitein, 2 bemanningsleden en 1 Engels sprekende Gids, allemaal toegewijd aan het waarborgen van uw veiligheid, comfort en algemeen plezier tijdens de tour.
Uw reis begint bij het iconische Padar Island, ongeveer 75 minuten met de speedboot van Labuan Bajo. Beroemd om zijn dramatische heuvels en het zeldzame uitzicht op drie gekleurde stranden - wit, roze en zwart - biedtadar een van de meest adembenemende landschappen van Indonesië. Als we aankomen, genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op ruige kustlijnen en turquoise wateren. Een wandeling van ongeveer 815 goed onderhouden treden leidt naar het belangrijkste uitzichtpunt. De klim is in uw eigen tempo te beklimmen, met onderweg ruststops. Op de top wordt u beloond met een spectaculair panoramisch uitzicht - een van de hoogtepunten van Komodo National Park en een perfecte plek voor onvergetelijke foto's. Draag wandelschoenen, neem een hoed, rifveilige zonnebrandcrème en blijf gehydrateerd.
Bezoek vervolgens het prachtige Pink Beach, gelegen op ongeveer 15 minuten met de speedboot van Padar Island. Bekend als een van de weinige roze zandstranden ter wereld, komt de unieke kleur van een mix van wit zand en rode koraalfragmenten, waardoor een zachtroze kustlijn ontstaat. Het kalme, heldere water is geschikt om licht te snorkelen, terwijl het strand zelf een ontspannen sfeer biedt - perfect om te zwemmen, foto's te maken of gewoon te genieten van het landschap. Gebruik rifveilige zonnebrandcrème, vermijd het trappen op koralen, draag zwemkleding en raak het zeeleven niet aan.
We gaan dan verder naar Komodo Island, gelegen op ongeveer 20 minuten met de speedboot van Pink Beach. Dit eiland is de thuisbasis van de legendarische Komodovaranen – de grootste levende hagedissen op aarde. Uw trektocht wordt begeleid door ervaren lokale rangers, waardoor u tijdens de wandeling zowel veiligheid als inzicht krijgt. Tijdens de trek heb je de mogelijkheid om komodovaranen in hun natuurlijke habitat te observeren, samen met andere wilde dieren zoals herten en vogels. Deze opmerkelijke reptielen kunnen tot 3 meter lang worden en staan bekend om hun krachtige bouw. Voor uw veiligheid moeten alle gasten de instructies van de ranger te allen tijde opvolgen – blijf bij uw ranger, houd een veilige afstand, vermijd plotselinge bewegingen en informeer onze Gids als u open wonden heeft.
Wij bieden een lunchbox afgestemd op uw voorkeur en genoten van een eenvoudige lokale warung beheerd door de lokale gemeenschap, het aanbieden van een ontspannen omgeving. Als u verse kokosnoot of extra drankjes wilt kopen, raden we u aan wat extra contant geld mee te nemen.
Na de lunch gaan we verder naar Taka Makasar, een prachtige halvemaanvormige zandbank omgeven door helder turquoise water. Gelegen in het midden van de oceaan, dit kleine eiland biedt een rustige stop om te ontspannen, foto's te nemen, of te genieten van een korte duik. De unieke vorm en natuurlijke kleuren maken het een van de meest pittoreske plekken in Komodo National Park. Afhankelijk van het getij kan de grootte van de zandbank variëren, wat bijdraagt aan de natuurlijke charme. Draag zonnebescherming (hoed, rifveilige zonnebrandcrème), volg de instructies van onze Gids te allen tijde, blijf kalm en beweeg langzaam in het water en gebruik indien nodig een zwemvest.
Dan is het op naar Manta Point, dat op slechts 5 minuten speedboot rijden van Taka Makasar ligt. Beroemd om zijn frequente waarnemingen van sierlijke mantaroggen, is deze plek een toevluchtsoord voor deze zachte reuzen, aangetrokken door de voedselrijke stromingen in het gebied. Het is een van de beste plekken om te snorkelen en ze rustig onder de oppervlakte te zien glijden. Als je geluk hebt, kun je misschien zelfs naast ze zwemmen! Volg te allen tijde de instructies van onze Gids, blijf kalm en beweeg langzaam in het water, en gebruik indien nodig een zwemvest.
Onze laatste stop is Siaba Island, dat is ongeveer 15 minuten speedboot rijden van Manta Point. Bekend als een uitstekende locatie om zeeschildpadden tegen te komen, nodigt deze plek je uit om in kristalhelder water te duiken en kleurrijke koraaltuinen te verkennen vol levendige tropische vissen, rifhaaien en, natuurlijk, zachte zeeschildpadden. Dit onderwaterparadijs is de perfecte manier om een dag vol verkenning en avontuur af te sluiten.
Daarna beginnen we aan onze terugreis naar Labuan Bajo, die ongeveer 45 minuten duurt vanuit Siaba. Onze laatste geschatte aankomsttijd in Labuan Bajo is 15 : 45 PM, zodat u uw avond of verdere reis comfortabel kunt plannen. Onze chauffeur wacht u bij aankomst op in de haven, zodat u verzekerd bent van een soepele en naadloze transfer naar uw hotel of de luchthaven. Voor gasten die een vlucht naar Bali nemen, is de luchthaven gunstig gelegen op slechts 5 - minuten rijden van de haven, zodat u ruim op tijd kunt arriveren voor het inchecken.

- Omdat Komodo National Park bezoekers nu beperkt tot 1.000 mensen per dag, zijn de toegangssleuven beperkt en lopen ze snel vol. Om uw bezoek veilig te stellen, reserveren we uw toegang vooraf met eigen middelen, met een totale parktoeslag van IDR 450.000 per persoon (IDR 250.000 SIORA-toeslag vergoed bij aankomst en IDR 200.000 rangertoeslag contant betaald bij aankomst). We zullen eerst uw goedkeuring vragen en na bevestiging doorgaan met de boeking. Houd er rekening mee dat hoewel onze tour gratis kan worden geannuleerd tot 24 uur voor vertrek, het SIORA-ticket niet kan worden gerestitueerd en nog steeds moet worden terugbetaald zodra het is geboekt, behalve in geval van slecht weer waar de havenmeester niet toestaat dat er naar het park wordt gevaren.
- Als u na de tour een middagvlucht neemt, neem dan uw bagage mee en berg deze op in de shuttleauto. Dezelfde auto brengt u direct naar het vliegveld zodra de tour eindigt. Aangezien u niet terugkeert naar het hotel, zijn handdoeken niet beschikbaar om te lenen, dus neem zelf mee.
- Gasten die van plan zijn om een drone naar Komodo National Park te brengen, moeten ons ten minste 5 dagen van tevoren op de hoogte stellen, in het bezit zijn van een geldig dronevliegcertificaat en een vergunning van 2,5 miljoen roepia verkrijgen, die we vooraf moeten betalen en bij aankomst kunnen worden terugbetaald. Weersomstandigheden, waaronder regen, resulteren niet automatisch in een annulering, en de tour gaat door zoals gepland zolang de Havenmeester bepaalt dat de omstandigheden veilig zijn en toestemming geeft om te varen. Als de havenmeester de omstandigheden echter onveilig acht en geen toestemming geeft voor vertrek, kunt u ervoor kiezen om zonder extra kosten deel te nemen aan een alternatieve tour, uw tour uit te stellen naar een beschikbare datum of een volledige terugbetaling te ontvangen.

Amazing experience. Unfortunately bad weather prevented us from seeing the pink beach and Padar island, but we still saw the dragons and the sunrise, and enjoyed the snorkelling in the clearest water I saw in Indonesia. The boat was very clean and comfortable, and lunch was good. In my opinion, the extra you pay to leave so early was well worth it, given that we enjoyed the sunrise and the dragons without too many people.

Such a great tour - definitely worth booking so you get earlier start. No crowds at Padar and on our descent soo many people were arriving so it’s great to beat all the people. My partner had a fear of the boat trip being rough and struggles with motion sickness but it wasn’t rough at all. If you do get sea sick though it’s a good idea to take tablets with you. Pink beach was beautiful and Taka makassar was absolutely beautiful- the most beautiful clear water. We swam with a turtle. The last couple of snorkeling spots I didn’t get in water but my partner did and he saw manta rays, turtles and reef sharks. Really friendly and professional tour guides and they take a heap of photos for you. The only spot I didn’t love was seeing Komodo dragons. It was cool to see them but we felt the whole thing was a bit set up. They tease and coax the dragons out of the bush with food and it feels a bit like a zoo enclosure but that is nothing to do with Komodo snorkel it was just our opinion in the Komodo national park. Def recommend booking this tour and company!

Very well organised tour! The hike on Padar island was perfectly timed so we had the top to ourselves having arrived after the live aboard groups had climbed it for sunrise and most of the day trippers arrived a little later. Pink beach, Komodo Island and three stops for snorkelling to see manta rays, turtles and the coral reef. Heri was a great guide explaining exactly what we would be seeing, how long we would have, and giving us insightful facts.

The script is very good. The attractions are great. Bring a sneaker or other suitable footwear for walking. The only thing that needs to improve is lunch. The food is cold and from the day before.

Excellent organization and friendly guide group with thoughtful preparations throughout. They were attentive for snorkeling and took good care of everyone including teaching first timers how to snorkel around the sand bank area. The tour starts early but you'll appreciate it when you beat the crowds to the spots!

Took this tour on December 26, 2025 and I still find myself thinking about it. As someone who doesn’t swim in open water or snorkel often, I was a little nervous, but it was worth every bit of effort. At times we had to swim against the current to find the manta rays, but seeing three of them on our last dives was something I’ll never forget. The early start (05:25 AM) made a huge difference. We reached the top of Padar Island before the crowds and were already leaving as droves of speedboats started arriving, same with Pink Beach, which stayed peaceful while we were there. Seeing the Komodo dragons up close was incredible too. You genuinely forget how dangerous they are in the moment, but it’s an experience I won’t forget. It’s a long, tiring day, about 12 hours total, and there’s a real pace to keep up with. But it’s completely worth it for the wildlife and for beating the crowds at every stop. Highly recommend, just come ready for an early and active day.

Highly recommended experience. They are organized, punctual, and kind. The food they provide is good, and since you have to get up so early, I felt like we avoided crowds. I am not giving it a 5 because of the price, which for Indonesian prices seems a bit excessive to me.
