Gelegen in de Komodo-archipel, zal dit eiland ons een prachtig uitzicht geven! Krijg het 360-uitzicht na een korte trekking. Padar heeft een droog klimaat, met alleen struiken en graslandvegetatie die het eiland bedekken, waardoor savanneheuvels ontstaan. Het eiland Padar heeft vier diepe baaien met stranden in verschillende kleuren, de meeste zijn wit zand, terwijl sommige stranden grijs en roze zand hebben.
Zet de camera klaar en geniet van het roze zand op het strand. Heb je "me time" of pak een snorkeluitrusting om het onderwaterzicht rondom te verkennen. Pak de camera en grijp het moment.
Nog een avontuur en maak kans om de gigantische hagedis de Komodovaraan en dieren in het wild te zien. Het wordt een onvergetelijke ervaring in dit avontuur.
Het is de tijd om onze geluksdag te proberen om een kans te maken zwemmen met de mooie en vriendelijke Manta. Hopelijk hebben we het geluk dat we kijkmomenten kunnen vastleggen met de Manta-mensen.
Taka Makassar is een van de meest iconische plekken in de Komodo-archipel. Het prachtige onderwaterlandschap voor snorkelactiviteiten en veel plezier op het halvemaanvormige atol.
Siaba Besar is een prachtig eiland in het centrale deel van het Komodo National Park. Het hoogtepunt van dit eiland is zonder twijfel het prachtige snorkelen met koraalonderzeese bergen en verbazingwekkende koraalriffen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De aangewezen chauffeur van Ocean Queen haalt reizigers op bij de lobby van het hotel. Ons team zal reizigers informeren over de ophaaltijd, en wees op tijd klaar. (De maximale wachttijd is 10 minuten om ervoor te zorgen dat de reis volgens schema verloopt.) Als uw hotelarrangement inclusief ontbijt is, kunt u de receptie vragen om de dag voor uw reis een ontbijtbox klaar te maken. Houd er rekening mee dat ophaal- en afhaaldiensten alleen beschikbaar zijn binnen het stadsgebied van Labuan Bajo. Voor locaties buiten de stad (bijvoorbeeld Sudamala Seraya, Menjaga Bay, Le Pirate Island, etc.) kunnen extra kosten van toepassing zijn. Het wordt afgeraden om deel te nemen aan deze tour als u een vlucht heeft gepland op dezelfde dag als de reis. Om dienstregelingsconflicten te voorkomen, dient u uw vlucht voor de volgende ochtend na de tour te boeken in plaats van op dezelfde dag.

- Momenteel leveren wij geen snorkeluitrusting op kindermaat. Alleen verstelbare "all-size" gear is beschikbaar, maar het kan nog steeds te groot zijn voor kinderen.

This was great got to visit a number of great spots and see tons of the area. Lucky the travel between didn’t take a lot of time.

Comfortable high speed boat, Friendly and helpful crew, exceptional views from top of Padar Island, 2 resting Komodo Dragons and a 2 drift snorkels which yielded about 10 Green Turtles and an Oceanic Manta. Fun but exhausting day!
We had an amazing trip and experience
Setting off at 6.30, you would imagine quite a relaxing itinerary, but you would be wrong. Due to the distances involved this tour can at times feel quite rushed, but honestly this is probably part of it's charm. Location 1 - Padar Island - quite a trek up the mountain for spectacular views of the three bays. Time allocated 1.5 hours. Location 2 - Pink beach ( although it is more pinkish nowadays) for a swim and an optional coffee Location 3 - Komodo Island - the main event 1 hour trek to (hopefully) see these magnificent animals in the wild ( we saw 3 adults and a baby one) followed by lunch and then some hard haggling with the locals. Location 4 - The boat stopped on a sandbar for those that wanted to,to practice snorkeling. (30 mins) Location 5 - Serious snorkeling to see the Manta rays circling. We saw 7 (45 mins) Location 6 - More snorkeling to see turtles. We saw one small one (30 mins) Then return to base about 5pm, red, exhausted but satisfied that you have not wasted your day. Well organized tour with skilled staff. Beautiful places really worth seeing. Only minus was the last extra added 7th stop. This was at a far too luxurious and modern beach club. Which totally fit the tour. Got the strong impression that the tour gets paid for this by the beach club. 10 euros for a mango gravy is a bit too far for me.

After completing all scheduled destinations, the boat returns directly to the harbour. Additionally, our drivers are assigned strictly for hotel - harbour transfers only, and they did not make any additional stops outside the standard procedure. We have a perfect outing with nice weather and fortunate enough to spot the various highlights - beautiful pink beach, Komodo dragons in motion, little shark in shadow water, manta and sea turtles while snorkelling.
The trip was amazing so many great spots to swim with water the greenest I have ever seen. The hike is not for the weak but the early means it’s a little less hot and we were lucky and saw several Komodo Dragons.
It was breathtaking and very entertaining. You got a lot to see and was well informed and you felt very well taken care of. The crew was always very attentive and friendly. Very happy to come back!
This tour felt rushed, Some spots were only given 45 mins for instance Pink Beach that needs more time. The boat didn’t even go to the taka makassar sand bar was a disappointment. Visiting the Komodo at the Komodo national park was a disappointment as there was one Komodo which I felt was given something to just stand there sleeping. Lunch was meh, cold. Had to eat at the boat. The staff was great though but the overall experience for visiting the Komodo islands was not met.

Regarding Taka Makassar, please note that its visibility depends greatly on tide conditions. On certain days, the sandbar may be submerged, making it unsafe or impossible for boats to dock or approach. In such cases, our captain may decide to skip it to prioritize safety and replace it with other island to explore so you can still enjoy the trip. As for the Komodo dragons, we kindly remind all guests that these majestic creatures live freely in their natural habitat, and sightings can vary. While we do our best to ensure guests have the opportunity to see at least one dragon, we cannot guarantee the number, as it depends on wildlife behavior and conditions during the visit.
