Kom en ervaar wat Victoria speciaal maakt tijdens onze rondleiding door de historische erfgoedbuurt James Bay en het spectaculaire Beacon Hill Park. Onze gidsen zullen u informeren en entertainen met informatie over de geschiedenis van onze stad, terwijl deze zich ontwikkelde van een kleine buitenpost voor de handel in bont tot een bloeiende goudkoortsstad tot de huidige hoofdstad van British Columbia. We hebben onderweg veel stops voor foto's, dus zorg ervoor dat je je camera meeneemt. Onze gidsen kunnen uw tour aanpassen op basis van wat u wilt zien, informeer gerust voor het boeken of tijdens de tour naar eventuele wensen en we zullen ons best doen om het te laten gebeuren. Ga met ons mee op een reis door de beste buurten van Victoria, we zullen James Bay verkennen, de thuisbasis van vele prachtig bewaarde erfgoedwoningen. Kom erachter waarom we Canada's tuinstad zijn terwijl we langs prachtige residentiële tuinen rijden.
Een korte stop om Emily Carr te ontmoeten, een van de beroemdste artiesten van Victoria. Lees meer over haar en hoe ze een van Canada's bekendste vrouwelijke schilders en schrijvers werd. Haar ouderlijk huis is nu een prachtig museum. Een rondleiding door het huis is niet opgenomen als onderdeel van de rondleiding vanwege tijdgebrek, maar kan aan het einde worden toegevoegd indien gewenst, toegang is via donatie.
Verken het grootste en meest spectaculaire park van de stad. De thuisbasis van meer dan 100 verschillende soorten bomen en duizenden bloemen. Hier worden meer trouwfoto's gemaakt dan in enig ander deel van de stad. Onze gidsen zullen je informeren over de geschiedenis van het park en een deel van de natuur (herten, adelaars, uilen en pauwen zijn meestal in het park, sommige zijn verlegen, terwijl anderen op bezoek komen)

We had an amazing 3 hour tour of gorgeous Victoria BC. Our operator Julie French was amazing. She is so passionate with everything about the city. Her knowledge of everywhere she took us was just amazing. We clicked with her from the beginning and it was like touring with a friend. She was funny and so polite to all traffic users on the tour. She just came across as a lady that loves life and loves what she does. The price may seem a little high but Julie is well worth every cent. We were very pleased with the ability to see many different sites throughout the area on our 2 hour tour. Julie was offering many options and asked us to choose. Luke was a fabulous guide! He was so knowledgeable about the local history-- from the architecture to the gold rush-- and so much more! Met us right as we exited the cruise terminal and rode us around the most unique neighborhoods and downtown area. George was very knowledgeable and engaging.
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Paula !! She was ADORABLE & so knowledgeable on the history of the homes , gardens & downtown area !! We took a 2hr tour but could have definitely done the longer one!! Will definitely recommend to family & friends if they are planning a visit to VICTORIA BC!
We had an absolutely wonderful time experiencing all of the great landmarks and niche "real life Easter eggs" of James Bay. Even as someone who has lived in Victoria for almost a decade there was lots to learn and discouver.
Our tour exceeded expectations. My mom is hearing impaired so she would have difficulty hearing narration during big bus tours or hop on/off. This completely met our needs. Allen made sure to stop/turn so she could easily hear him. He told so many wonderful stories about the houses and Beacon Hill. We learned so much!
