Wie zijn wij bij SMATUR? Ten eerste houden we van wat we doen, daarom hebben we de beste baan ter wereld en is de glimlach altijd aanwezig; WIJ HOUDEN VAN ONS LAND, en we pronken er trots mee, want hoe klein het ook mag zijn, het is gigantisch in wat het ons kan geven; en ten slotte is het onze MISSIE om te waarderen wat we hebben, om de duurzaamheid van deze kleine eilanden als merk te gebruiken, en samen met de energie van het eiland, degenen te verrassen die ons durven te bezoeken.

Fort uit het begin van de eeuw. XVI, gebruikt om Algerijnse kapers en Filippijnse troepen in het midden van de eeuw te beschermen en te bestrijden. XVI en XVII. Het biedt ons een zicht op een deel van de sintelkegel van wat vermoedelijk de tweede vulkaan was die ongeveer 8,7 miljoen jaar geleden het eiland Santa Maria creëerde.
Hier kunt u genieten van een van de mooiste en meest paradijselijke uitzichten die het eiland te bieden heeft. Eén van de mooiste baaien ter wereld
Rode Woestijn of Barreiro da Faneca, een uitgestrekt gebied met ongeveer 8 hectare vulkanische as dat ongeveer 3,5 miljoen jaar geleden een oxidatieproces heeft ondergaan. Het voelt alsof we op Mars zijn

Ter nagedachtenis aan de stop van Cristovão Colombo in Lugar dos Anjos in 1493, waar hij de mis opdroeg in de kapel van N. Sra de Sant'Ana.

Had a brilliant day out with Miguel. He was super interesting, engaging and so passionate and knowledgeable about the island, and all of the Azores. We also really appreciated his flexibility, he did half a day tour with us instead of the full day, picked us up in the marina where we were staying and tailored the day to what we were interested in. We were a family with three teenagers, and they all found it really interesting - our eldest said he thought it was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks Miguel - and we LOVED the melons, especially with some beautiful local cheese!
Miguel is a very good guide, he had us visit the whole island in one day, guided tour in English, he is a very humane person, I had a health issue during the stay, and he took me to the Santa Maria emergency room and brought me back! and acted as an interpreter for the doctors on site! a gem

We came for the day from Ponta Delgada. Early arrival at 7 a.m. for a 9 a.m. tour start. But thanks to Miguel, our guide, that was not a problem because he met us at the airport and dropped us off in the city center for breakfast and a visit before the start of the tour. Miguel is an exceptionally kind guide and helped us discover Santa Maria in an exceptional way. We visited all the sites and he shared his passion for his island with us. Same accompaniment at the end of the day for a return to the airport at 8 p.m., well after the end of the tour. We recommend Smatur and especially Miguel. 👍

A day our family will never forget, thanks to our guide, Ricardo. He shared his love and knowledge of this beautiful island. He was incredibly kind with my elderly parents, ensuring their safety.
