Safaritocht vanuit Punta Cana naar Monkeyland en Plantation

Beschrijving

To start, our driver Jose C was amazing! He didn't stop talking the entire way to our excursion. Very informative, funny and very nice. Definitely one of the better tour guides we've ever had. The plantation experience was also awesome. To hear how everything is made from start to finish was cool. The monkey portion was amazing as well. We had a great time. Lots of interactions with the monkeys. The guides made sure everyone had plenty of time with them but also take your own photos. The photos taken during the monkey experience were pretty reasonable price wise. Would highly recommend!!
Ruddy and Moises were professional and very knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend requesting them for your tour.
Kevin and the driver were our guides and they were the best
Probably the best day away from The resort I’ve had anywhere in the world ! Our guides eddy and rene were remarkable and very knowledgeable and funny ! They take their jobs very seriously and we was made to feel very welcome and safe throughout the whole trip We learned about how local coffee and cocoa production funds the livelihood of local communities and the monkey experience is one of a kind Book with confidence
Our guide Eddie and driver Rene were amazing, very funny and knowledgeable. Was definitely well worth the money, absolutely loved the time with the monkeys and the staff in there were brilliant. Our guide Eddie did our plantation tour , and we learnt all about coffee, coco and coconut oil production. We also learnt a lot about the country during our drive to the mountains, which we loved
It’s hard to explain how absolutely amazing this excursion was and how much we would HIGHLY recommend you doing this when in Punta Cana! From pick up to drop off, we were so well looked after and had the greatest experience. We were collected from our hotel by Alejandro and Hendry and taken to a meeting point to meet our guide. Both were friendly and efficient and the transport itself was nicely air conditioned and comfortable. We swapped vehicles at the meeting point and from then, our guide was Ruddy and driver was Jose. Jose was an amazing driver, knew the roads well and got us there and back quickly and safely. What to say about Ruddy! He was absolutely awesome. Hilarious, informative, knowledgeable and a brilliant guide. He made the whole experience next level! He taught us all about Dominican life and we were able to drive through some villages and able to take a look at life within. It added to the whole experience. Monkeyland itself was the greatest. The spider monkeys are so cheeky and we loved every minute of it. Hamlet was a brilliant guide around the sanctuary and gave us food continuously to be able to interact with the monkeys. He was funny and amazing with them. Sergio took loads of stunning photos of everyone and this occurred over two separate locations. $40 for all your digital photos is a steal for such great quality. After leaving Monkeyland, we went to a plantation to try coffee, hot chocolate and Mama Juana. Each tasted gorgeous and Ruddy explained everything about how these were made with the visual help of Christian. We were able to have a short walk through the jungle to reach the transport, which was a beautiful finish to the trip!
Definitely a recommended experience. The Bus driver was exceptional. He made sure to explain what to expect on tour. Driver was Jose Carrasco!.. Great driver
Ruddy & Felix were great guides and super informed. Ruddy gave a lot of information about the land and its people. Great trip!
Amazing trip. Such a beautiful location. Well organised and looked after by the guides. The monkeys were absolutely adorable. Would book this again.
The positives - the tour itself was great. The monkeys and the coconut house where you learn about the culture and the coffee was great. Our family really enjoyed it. The main negative was it took 2 hours from when we got picked up to get to the tour, when in was 45 minutes away. Had to wait to pick up 4 other groups. And then the driver went to a gas station and we waited there for 20-30 min. No gas, no explanation. Just parked and that got a bit frustrating. Maybe there was a valid explanation that wasn’t given. If we were told it would take 2 hours in a bus for a tour that’s about an hour, I’m pretty sure we would’ve passed.
