Thanks so much to our tour guide Marianne C and driver Tomas for taking great care of us as we saw the tomato greenhouse, geyser, waterfall, and rift—all the highlights. Very glad we booked this tour (RE04).
Took the circle tour-greenhouse-geyser-gold falls with tour guide Dylan Kincla and bus driver Fusi. Bus ride was excellant with Fusi keeping a careful eye as passengers entering and exiting the bus. He drove with precision even in dense cloud clovd going over the large hill (mountain). Dylan was very knowledgable and kept us informed and entertained with his history in stories of the terrain, animal habitat and history of the Land of Ice and Fire. A Great afternoon. I don’t really know what happened, but the vendor left us high and dry in Reykjavik. They miscommunicated pickup information for the wrong date and wrong tour. Good news - a full refund was received.
What an incredible day! Though the day was cold and a bit rainy it was still a fabulous tour made even more special by our tour Guide Birta Poll Sveinbjornsdotir. She added color and excitement to the places we visited and tied it to her personal experiences as well. We were not rushed and felt there was amble time at each of the sites we visited. The tour left and arrived back exactly on time. Simply superb.
Got to see a bit of everything on this excursion. Guide Gerta was excellent. Stopped at Thingvelier National Park (tectonic plates), Geyser, and Gullfoss. Lunch was available at Geysir (pretty good too). Able to watch Geysir erupt twice (every 50 min or so). Gullfoss is as impressive as Niagra Falls. Passed several thermal areas, horse farms and rivers/streams. Lots of lava fields with moss and little vegetation. Best was that it cost half of what the cruise ship offered.
From pick up to drop off this was an incredible tour with an amazing staff! My tour guide was Bjarni (I hope I spelled that right) and his personal knowledge and stories that accompanied the sights were so insightful and made the tour much more personal. We had fantastic weather when I went and every second of sitting in that bus was worth it! Amazing company and an even more amazing tour!! You have to do it on your trip to Iceland!!
A full day af gun and excitement aswell as learning lots of information about the various aspects of Iceland The guile Matt and driver Marco great fun all day Kept everyone entertained Would highly recommend these two for this tour
Very long day but great experience. We stopped at a tomato factory first which could have been avoided as was not that interesting. Enjoy the red of the tour and the guide was vey informative on the coach. Well organised pick up and drop off system
Wonderful day trip and the best guide!!! Nico was full of interacts and stories about Iceland and made the experience better by really preparing us for what we would see.
We did this tour with the best guide we've ever had. Hoskuldur was informative, funny, engaging and very knowledgeable about every site, Icelandic history, geology, and the cultural history of locations and sites. Every site was fabulous and we had plenty of time to enjoy them, take photos, learn and experience. The driver was brilliant and very safe, the bus was lovely and timing just right. Excellent value and thoroughly recommend this tour.
