Incredibly skilled and informative guide. Very nice introduction both before, during and after the whale safari. Everyone was wearing held suits/survival suits, so no risk of freezing. Had a great experience with 2 squid whales very close to the boat. Lots of information about whales in general throughout the trip. A very nice company and nice staff. Can be highly recommended.
Boring outing, way too far from the animals if you compare it to Tofino. Searches little and stays near one animal. Lame.
A bit underwhelming. We went on the 10am tour. The guides were friendly and the setting was nice with only 12 people per boat. We also managed to see a humpback which was nice (we were desperate to see Orcas), obviously the tour company cant control which animals you see, however a good amount of the tour was made up of circling a small island with a lighthouse where we were shown a bald eagle, sea lions and some seals, slightly underwhelming considering the price. We think this was because some people in another boat were being seasick so they needed to stay in less choppy water (our boat was fine, so not sure why we didnt go out alone). Honestly I'd probably recommend getting a car and driving around the coast instead and trying to see Orcas by yourself.
What an incredible experience! We did the Zodiac boat tour with Orca Spirit in early July, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Ryan, was friendly, engaging, and happy to answer everyone's questions. His passion and knowledge really made the tour special. He was extremely knowledgeable about the whales, marine wildlife, and Vancouver Island. It was clear he knew exactly where to go to give us the best chance of seeing whales. We chose the 11:00 a.m. tour, and I think that's the perfect time. The earlier tours helped identify where the whales were, so by 11:00, Ryan knew exactly where to take us. We saw numerous humpback whales and were able to see them up close. Ryan also shared fascinating information about the whales, including one nicknamed "Poptart," which made the experience even more memorable. If you're visiting Victoria or Vancouver Island, I highly recommend Orca Spirit's Zodiac whale watching tour. It was an unforgettable adventure, and we'd book with Ryan again in a heartbeat!

Great day out looking for whales and sea life. The crew was great, knowledgeable and patient. Answered everyone's questions, were in constant communication with other boats to see what other sighting were nearby so that our boat could head that way. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend. I was traveling solo and didn't feel 'alone'.

Amanda was the most AMAZING guide for our trip. She went above and beyond for our group, making sure we got to see everything we could. We were lucky enough to see many humpbacks, including a breech very close to us, and some orcas. She was fun, attentive, and skilled. We couldn’t imagine having a better time- amazing trip!

This was the best experience of my life. We got to see humpback whales and orcas! As well as sea lions and elephant seals. Amanda was the absolute best guide We could have asked for. Loved this so much 1000/10 experience!

Excellent trip and a great way to see the whales and other wildlife in the area. Zodiac boat so much better than a regular boat! Guide/skipper Luke was awesome, so friendly and knowledgeable! 10/10!

I was disappointed that a lot of time was spent watching orcas when two humpbacks were close by.
