Water Cube "is de bijnaam van Beijing National Aquatics Center. Deze naam wordt veel gebruikt om dit iconische gebouw in Peking te beschrijven, dat de belangrijkste locatie was voor watersporten zoals zwemmen en duiken tijdens de Olympische Spelen van 2008 in Peking.

Yandaixie Street (Tabakszak Tilt Street) is een beroemde commerciële straat gespecialiseerd in de verkoop van tabakszakjes, kalligrafie en schilderijen en jade artikelen tijdens de Qing-dynastie (1616 - 1911). Dan bereikt u het grootste plein in het stadscentrum ter wereld, het Tiananmenplein. Verbazingwekkend op zijn schaal - Tiananmen Square wordt beschouwd als het politieke centrum van China. Volg de gids om de omliggende gebouwen te verkennen en meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis erachter.
Het is een van de monumentale gebouwen van de nieuwe "Sixteen Scenic Spots of Beijing", gelegen aan de westkant van het Tiananmenplein in het centrum van Peking. Het lijkt op een ei dat op water drijft, en geweldig als de lichten branden.
De Chairman Mao Memorial Hall lijkt bijzonder plechtig in het donker van de nacht. Waar is in het centrum van Tiananmen Square.
Chang'an Avenue, de centrale laan van Beijing, is een must-visit bestemming voor toeristen. Door de bruisende sfeer lijkt de hoofdstad meer verhelderend.
Gelegen op de historische centrale as van Beijing net ten zuiden van het Tian'anmen-plein en de Verboden Stad, is de onlangs gerenoveerde Qianmen-straat hard op weg om een van de meest populaire locaties te worden voor een wandeltocht in Beijing. Duizenden traditionele winkels liggen verspreid aan beide kanten van de straat, waardoor wandelen interessanter wordt. Vanavond, dompel jezelf onder in de oude culturele straat.

A must do in Beijing. Our tour guide Bruce was fantastic and gave an in depth history of the city. He helped us navigate thru best parts of the city in a short amount of time. Something difficult to accomplish on our own. Great job by Bruce - highly recommend.

Doing this tour wasn’t only very educational but it was so much fun. Rita, our tour guide had such a wealth of knowledge in Beijing’s history. She was also very patient with us as we enjoyed browsing/shopping at Qianmen Street. We also got to taste our first zhajiangmian noodles at Fang Zhuan Chang. I totally recommend this tour to have an overview of Beijing as well as enjoying it at night and especially seeing how the local folks unwind at Houhai Lake.
