Stoppen bij : We halen je om 9.00 uur op bij je hotel in Tbilisi. Onze reis voert ons langs de schilderachtige Georgische militaire snelweg richting de Russische grens. Eerste stop : Ananuri Complex – een historische residentie van de Argveti Dukes. Verken kerken en torens uit de 16e-17e eeuw en geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op het Jinvali-stuwmeer. Volgende : Bezoek de unieke samenvloeiing van twee bergrivieren, beroemd om het behoud van hun verschillende kleuren, zelfs na het samenvoegen. Cross Pass : Korte stop bij het “People’s Friendship” uitzichtpunt, een Sovjet-tijdperk bezienswaardigheid met uitzicht op een dramatische kloof in de Kaukasus. Kazbegi : Ga verder naar de iconische Gergeti Holy Trinity Church op 2.170 meter boven zeeniveau, met een adembenemend uitzicht op de berg Kazbek en de gletsjer. Lunch/pauze : Geniet van een maaltijd in het restaurant van Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, een perfecte plek om te ontspannen met een ongelooflijk berglandschap. Na deze onvergetelijke dag rijden we terug naar Tbilisi. Duur : Tour van een hele dag (ongeveer 10-11 uur, inclusief stops)
Het Ananuri Fort Complex is een historisch fort uit het feodale tijdperk uit de 16e-18e eeuw, gelegen nabij het dorp Ananuri in Oost-Georgië. Gelegen aan de Georgische militaire weg in de regio Mtskheta-Mtianeti, aan het begin van het Jinvali-stuwmeer en 900 meter boven zeeniveau, biedt het een prachtig uitzicht en een fascinerende blik in het verleden van Georgië.
Het Gudauri-vriendschapsmonument, ook bekend als het Gudauri-panorama of het Verdrag van Georgievsk-monument, ligt 120 km van Tbilisi langs de Georgische militaire snelweg richting Rusland. Gebouwd door de Sovjet-regering, herdenkt dit monument de 200ste verjaardag van het Verdrag van Georgievsk (1783). Gelegen op een heuveltop, biedt het een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op het Kaukasusgebergte, waardoor het een perfecte stop is voor foto's en een moment om te genieten van het prachtige landschap van Georgië.
De Gergeti Trinity Church ligt in de gemeente Kazbegi, op slechts 1 km van het dorp Gergeti, op een hoogte van 2.200 meter boven zeeniveau. Het is een van de meest iconische toeristische bestemmingen van Georgië. Genesteld in een prachtige natuurlijke omgeving, staat de kerk als symbool van het christelijke erfgoed van Georgië, en biedt bezoekers een adembenemend uitzicht op het Kaukasusgebergte. An Exceptional Tour Guide in Georgia! Our one-week trip around Georgia, from Tbilisi to Borjomi and other beautiful destinations, was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was because of our amazing tour guide, Louie. 🇬🇪❤️ Louie is extremely professional, knowledgeable, hands-on, and attentive. He didn't just take us from one place to another—he made sure we experienced the beauty of Georgia, were comfortable throughout the journey, and enjoyed every moment. Insane trip. Louis guided us around Tbilisi and then the one day mountain trip. In a week I feel we saw 3 weeks. Super fun, light and educated tour. Also great music and insane taste in GOOD restaurants. If you want a real deal original non tourist—trap experience, BOOK!

Louis is the pure local who knows every hidden spot to take good photos, and he is friendly enough to be both tour guide and safe driver. We spent the day with him with pleasure and great moments. It’s a wise decision to do so compare the next day we took the public bus back to Tbilis, which is an oven-like experience. Wish we could have more days so that we can explore more with Louis~
