1-daagse reis naar Armenië is de beste mogelijkheid om een nieuw land in slechts een dag te bezoeken en te zien hoe verschillend twee buurlanden kunnen zijn, de beste gelegenheid om plaatsen te bezoeken die je naar verschillende eeuwen brengen en je het gevoel geven dat de tijd met de eeuwen verandert in slechts een paar minuten denk je dat je met een tijdmachine reist, maar het is gewoon onze auto die door deze prachtige plekken wordt gereden, je verkent 2 UNESCO-erfgoedlocaties, probeert heerlijke lokale gerechten, ziet hoe lokale mensen leven en voelt de invloed van de sovjet-unie, een dag vrij besteden om andere eeuwen te voelen is veel.

Om 08:30 uur ontmoet onze gids je voor het metrostation Avlabari met de merkvlag van ons bedrijf.
De eerste aanblik van de tour die we bezoeken is het Akhtala-klooster. Een kerk uit de 13e eeuw met prachtige fresco's, omgeven door kopersmeltgrotten, een kopersmeltfabriek en de centrale verdedigingsvesting van het zuidelijke deel van Georgië.
De tweede bestemming van de tour is het Haghpat-klooster, gelegen in het dorp Haghpat en staat op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Een van Armenië's mooiste middeleeuwse meesterwerken is adembenemend.
Na de lunch bezoeken we het tweede UNESCO-erfgoed, het Sanahin-klooster, een van de mooiste kloosters uit de 10e eeuw. Op weg naar het Sanahin-klooster zijn er drie extra haltes: één voor de brug, die oorspronkelijk uit de 12e eeuw stamt en vanaf de brug zie je een kopersmelterij die je de tijd van de Sovjet-Unie doet voelen; de tweede plaats is Debed-canyon met een verbluffend uitzicht; het derde zicht Mikoyan Brothers 'Museum dat je zal verbazen met het originele vliegtuig MiG 21.

Excellent trip. Armenian border was fast and easy and no so much line. Ana was amazing in her explanation and the lunch at the local family was the highlight.

Day trip to Armenia 🇦🇲 Wow wow wow What a fantastic day trip from start to finish Our host and guide Anna was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. What an absolute credit she is to her profession. She made the trip extra special. Our traditional home made lunch was absolutely knock out. So much food clearly made with love. The local beer and pomegranate wine (at a small extra cost) was equally palatable Anna’s knowledge of the monasteries and their history was second to none. The drive through the mountains and into the canyon was spectacular and expertly navigated by our driver Vajiko There was even time for a Top Gun Maverick moment with a MiG 21 !!!
