Ervaar wijn en cultuur tijdens de dagtrip naar Kakheti Regio. Je bezoekt twee Georgische wijnhuizen en proeft hun unieke producten, van droog rood tot zoet wit. U kunt ook genieten van een traditioneel Georgisch vers brood en kaas in een traditionele bakkerij. Onderweg verken je enkele van de mooiste en meest historische plekken van Kakheti, zoals Bodbe's St. Nino's Convent Cathedral. In Sighnaghi kunt u het uitzicht op de Alazani-vallei, het Kaukasusgebergte en de Sighnaghi-muur bewonderen. Het is een verdedigingswerk dat dateert uit de 18e eeuw. Bij een familiebedrijf en KTW Winery leer je over de oude wijnbereidingsmethoden in Georgia. Deze tour is een must-do voor iedereen die van wijn, natuur en cultuur houdt.

Om 08:30 uur ontmoet onze gids u voor het metrostation Avlabari met de vlag van ons bedrijf. Hij/zij zal u laten zien waar ons kantoor is. Nadat u de incheckprocedure heeft afgerond, wacht u enkele minuten in ons kantoor tot uw tour begint.
Badiauri dorp is waar u een lokale bakkerij kunt bezoeken en heerlijke Georgische brood en kaas kunt proeven.
De tweede stop is Bodbe Convent. Volgens de legende werd het gebouwd op de begraafplaats van Saint Nino – een heilige voor Georgiërs die hun religie tot het christendom bekeerden. De site is zeer spiritueel en heeft indrukwekkende uitzichten voor het maken van prachtige foto's.
Ga dan naar Sighnaghi, bekend als "De Stad van Liefde." U krijgt een wandeltocht in Sighnaghin en ontdekt "De Grote Muur van Georgië." Na de wandeltocht kunt u deelnemen aan de lunch met een prachtig uitzicht op de Alazani-vallei en traditionele Georgische gerechten proberen.
De vierde site van de dag is een lokale familie wijnmakerij. In dit stadium ontmoet je een lokale familie die traditioneel wijn maakt met behulp van Qvevri - gigantische kleipotten begraven onder de grond. Je krijgt drie van hun beste wijnen te proeven - Rkatsiteli, Saperavi en Manavi Mtsvane.
De laatste plek om overdag te bezoeken is KTW Winery, een van de grootste wijnproducenten van het hele land. Je hebt een rondleiding door de wijnmakerij, wijnproeverij voor vijf verschillende wijnen - en probeer zelfs Chacha, een krachtige druivenwodka.

Excellent company with well planned out tours. Our guide Giorgi was super knowledgeable , conscientious and helped make this a great tour. Driver was also excellent.
We had a fantastic private tour with Liza, who gave us very clear explanations and answered many of our questions. We loved every minute of the trip, from the bread and cheese tasting, the visit to the St Nino nunnery, the walk in the walls of the town, amazing views from the lunch spot, and then the wine tasting. We did a larger vineyard followed by a smaller family run when they themselves explained and showed us around. We were never rushed, we felt relaxed and had a truly enjoyable day. Our driver Mr Gocha drove us very safe and had great music in the car. We asked for a special stop to see a statue and our request was well catered for, Liza had found out all the relevant information about the monument. Highly recommend the private tour.
Absolutely top choice of a day tour if you want to experience Georgian wines and see the countryside a little. Our guide Shota was very knowledgeable and a great entertainer/speaker. We can definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a tour from Tbilisi!
Anna was an incredible guide who was very knowledgeable about not only wine but also Georgian history. The tour was great, with everything going very smoothly. There were two main wineries that we went to, both of which had multiple wine tastings. There was also an optional lunch stop, which for an extra 50 lari was definitely worth it, we got to try lots of traditional Georgian dishes which we may not have otherwise. Overall the tour was excellent and I would absolutely recommend to anyone.
It was a really good experience, we learned a lot about Georgian history. I tried a lot of good wine and delicious Georgian food. Our guide Oko was amazing. The landscape is also beautiful.

Anna was absolutely amazing and without a doubt the highlight of our tour! Her passion for what she does is incredible and truly contagious. She explained everything with so much enthusiasm, interest and curiosity, making us want to learn more at every stop. She was also extremely polite, friendly and attentive throughout the whole day, creating such a lovely atmosphere. You could really feel how much she loves Georgia, its history and culture, and that passion made the experience even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The guide Shoti is amazing. He is kind and make sure everyone is there for the tour( one person was not at KTW bigger tour Shoti went to look for him !) he explained the region,wine so it was appropriated. I like this itinerary is because the tasting is after lunch. As at KTW, wine pouring is very generous from the steel tanks 😂. Lunch you can choose the full meal with wines for 50Gel. Or other restaurants nearby. Bus is clean and comfortable. Con: Only one suggestion for the tour company: the family winery. Wine is fine but lack of winery vibe. Feel like just for wine store and no vineyards around. Yes there is a cellar but look like someone basement. Maybe should choose another family vineyard The other company tour has a better review of the family winery but if their tasting is in the afternoon I would go for that. Overalls, we still had a good time with Shoti
