Private Day Tour of Mutianyu Great Wall uit Beijing inclusief Lunch

I nearly didn't get to see the great wall of china ad I had messed up timings the first time I attempted to go to badaling. I was so lucky, to message John after it had fallen through. John arranged a private tour with transport to the mutianyu section of the wall. He picked me up at 6am from my hotel and brought me to the forbidden wall for 10 for my next tour. The great wall was so worth it and John couldn't have been a better guide. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have been able to see the wall so early in the fay and be able to get back to Beijing. One of the most memorable parts of my visit to China. Thank you John!

Trip bus and guide just right for our group of three adults and four teenagers. The Great Wall area we were able to walk for two hours which was enough for a very hot day and then slide down to the bottom. Lunch was an ok buffet but we came at the very end of when they were serving so not a lot left. We went to a jade market area where we learned about jade and then the tea tour and tasting topped off the tour. The teenagers were skeptical about doing the tea tasting but it turned out to be one of the highlights!

We really enjoyed our day visiting the Great Wall. The guide was very friendly & knowledgeable and the driver was excellent too. We were fortunate that there were not so many tourists at the wall so got some great pictures. The walk to the top of the cable car only takes 30-40 minutes then you can either chose to walk up to the top of the hill, or take the toboggan back down. Lunch at the restaurant was fine, before we drove back to the city. Definitely worth the trip

Terry was a wonderful tour guide! He and his driver arrived early at the hotel and greeted us warmly. The car was clean, comfortable, and stocked with bottled water for us. His English was very good and he was very knowledgeable of Beijing and Great Wall history. Lunch after the tour was also very good. All in all a phenomenal experience!

I’m really pleased I booked this (through the BA website using Avios) - I was picked nice and early up from the Four Seasons and my guide, Terry was really friendly for the car ride (about an hour), telling me all about the history of the various sections of the wall When we got there he arranges the tickets so that there’s no problems and he goes up to the wall with you, and it’s a relatively quiet section so not too crowded - he stayed with me for a bit, then gave me a couple of hours to explore by myself and then met me for lunch (he gave me the choice of western food or local food - I recommend the local food!) He even took a detour to the Olympic site on the way back to my hotel because I mentioned that I was a sport lover (he’s a huge football fan) Highly recommended, and great service - one of the highlights of my trip

The tour's driver picked me up at the hotel early, then drove me to the bus that was to take us to the Great Wall. We arrived on time. Nancy was the tour guide who spoke both English and Chinese. She met us on the way back from the Great Wall and drove all of us back to our pick-up spots. The only complaint I had was the weather but that wasn't the tour group's fault.

Terry is an amazing man, extremely personable and friendly. The trip was extremely informative, we would definitely recommend the company!

A 10+ seat Van picked us at accommodations in Beijing with private driver and our English guide -Terry. Terry gave us a thorough introduction of the history and culture behind Great Wall. He is also knowledgeable and able to answer randomized question came up during the trip. He is more than just a tour guide but also a nice guy to hang out with. The travel arrangement is so professional that included must-go sites and also tailed to accommodate our personal request as best as he can. The whole journey is sweet and thoughtful. Pretty sure it will be a memory that my US friends treasure a lot.

Terry picked us up at our accommodations in Beijing and took care of everything. We didn't have to worry about where to go or what to buy in order to have an amazing Great Wall experience. The Mutianyu location was well developed with a chair lift to the wall and plenty of amenities at the base of the wall and also at the wall itself. We were very comfortable during the tour and Terry was able to address all of our questions and concerns. He gave us a lot of information about the wall and Chinese history to and from the wall and at the wall itself. He was very accommodating with whatever we wanted to do at all the wall and we all had a great time. He was able to make our parents, who were not able to walk as much of the wall, feel comfortable as well as our younger visitors. I highly recommend Terry for your trip!
