Begin aan een privéwandeling door het charmante stadje Argostoli, beginnend bij de haven van Argostoli. Begin uw wandeling langs de kustweg en stop bij de vissersboten — een perfecte plek om te ontspannen en te kijken naar de zeeschildpadden die het gebied bezoeken. Vervolg uw wandeling naar de Korgialenios Bibliotheek en Museum, waar u historische tentoonstellingen kunt bewonderen die het rijke culturele erfgoed van Kefalonia laten zien. Vanaf daar gaat u naar Lithostroto Street, een schilderachtige voetgangersstraat met levendige winkels. Hier kunt u genieten van een gratis proeverij van traditionele Kefalonische producten in een cultuurwinkel en de oudste bakkerij van de stad, waarbij u de lokale smaken en aroma's uit de eerste hand ervaart. Wandel langs Bell Tower Square, een iconisch herkenningspunt van de stad, en passeer de historische De Bosset Bridge, met zijn architectuur en schilderachtige uitzichten De tour eindigt bij de serene Koutavos Lagoon, waar u kunt ontspannen aan het water en genieten van het rustige landschap.

Vervolg uw wandeling van Napier naar het Historisch en Cultureel Museum, waar de tradities van Kefalonia tot leven komen door een boeiende verzameling artefacten, kostuums en historische tentoonstellingen.

- De rondleiding is beperkt tot maximaal 19 personen per groep, wat een meer persoonlijke en intieme ervaring garandeert.
- Het is raadzaam om comfortabele, ademende kleding te dragen die geschikt is voor warm weer. Overweeg om een hoed of pet te dragen ter bescherming tegen de zon. Breng vóór de tour zonnebrandcrème aan om te beschermen tegen blootstelling aan de zon. Comfortabele wandelschoenen worden aanbevolen

Best do on your own. Tour guide is great but if the most exciting thing to see & do is go to a reasonably boring museum for 40 minutes & just walk down shopping street then save your money. Unfortunately it really is best missed. Company of guide is good, but what she had to present was not. Also weeds everywhere, this town is not maintained by gardeners which would make it present better. Sorry but it's a definite miss & thumbs down from us.
Very friendly tour guides, Sandra and Katerina were waiting for us at the port. Very familiar with the town and it’s history . they answered all our questions
Excellent walking tour with two enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides, Susan and Eva. The Korgialenio History & Folklore Museum was a highlight. If you love folklore, don't miss it.
Sandra was fantastic! Our group completely enjoyed our walking tour with Sandra. She was fun and very knowledgeable about Argostoli. We learned a lot about the people and culture . Highly recommend the walking tour and hopefully you have Sandra as your guide. You will enjoy her.
Great shore excursion option. We were not in competition with the larger tours. Pickup was a bit chaotic, but we all found eachother and got off on time. Eva was a great guide - very pleasant and informative and made sure we all were on track without feeling pushed or rushed. I loved the sites chosen, especially the views from the fortress on the peak.
As well as seeing the promised sights, we learned much about the island. Who knew there are wild horses here! Friendly tour guide, accessible to all abilities and not too long.
It is a walk that allows you to have a panoramic view from the other shore of Argostoli. It is the longest stone bridge in Europe. If you go at sunset you can take a nice photograph of Argostoli with the lights on.
Our MSC cruise stopped in this port and following the beautiful seafront we arrived in the center. Nice center with clubs and souvenir shops. We also saw sea turtles and fishermen.
The trip as advertised was cancelled last minute due to low participants. However, Mark the travel rep decided to try and do as much as he could for us. So we were driven from Hotel pericles in Sami to Argostoli at 9am. We got to see turtles at the harbour which was the main part of the trip. We walked along the kourakas lagoon then into a church. Had a croissant at the old bakery and certainly smelt the coffee coming off the cafes. Apparently burning the coffee beans gets rid of mosquitoes and wasps. We got to do some shopping and took loads of pictures. Unfortunately at 39 oC feel like 44oC it really was too hot and no wonder there was no one else doing the tour. But still lots of tourists in Argostoli. We got to be driven back as well which if we done ourselves would have cost 50euros each way so good value from that point. Also had to find pharmacy for wife's heat rash which was hard as they close at 2pm for siesta. All in all we achieved our goals but as trip was cancelled can only give 3 stars. Sorry guys. Mark was really good with us and he deserves a pat on the back.
Dear Simon Whe you are reporting a cancellation and reviews us with 3 stars , please report also what the company has done for you after ths cancellation So at the time that we have informed you for the cacellation we have provided you a free trasfer from Sami to Argostoli ( original cost 50,00 Euros - one way ) , then we had a meeting with you in our agency in order to give you advises of the best way to see the town and interesting place to see without any limits on time and when you finished your visit to the town and had your meal we have arranged another free transortation to go back to Sami I am very sorry that after this you have decided that our customer service worth only 3stars Still we thank you for choosing us for your transfers in Argostoli and wish you all the best Thank you
Nothing relevant to see with this tour. We would rather visiting caves or beaches in Argostoli. The driver and guide tour were nice and the car was comfortable, just it was hot and the car AC didn’t work well.
