Geniet volop van het prachtige uitzicht, en laat onze ervaren chauffeurs u leiden op een onvergetelijke reis. Zwem in een waterval bij Puaʻa Kaʻa, probeer legendarisch bananenbrood op het schiereiland Keʻanae, vang wat zon op Hamoa Beach en bewonder de zeeschildpadden in Ho'okipa Beach Park. Tussendoor leiden onze gidsen je rond in het eclectische surfstadje Paia, maken een familieportret onder een enorme regenboogeucalyptusboom, zien de ongelooflijke schoonheid van Koki Beach en leren over de historische en prachtige gemeenschappen van Wailua en Hana.

Paia is een surfstad met veel karakter en is de perfecte manier om je reis naar Hana te beginnen. Als uw groep een beetje energie nodig heeft, kunnen we stoppen bij een van de cafés in de stad en een rondje koffie drinken. Alice is Hululand is de perfecte plek om een funky souvenir te pakken, of ontdek wat lekker tropisch fruit is in het seizoen bij Mana Foods!
Een van de meest ontzagwekkende uitzichten op de Road to Hana, kijk uit over het rustige dorpje Wailua en de uitgestrekte oceaan daarbuiten. Tegenover Haleakela wordt u getrakteerd op een panorama van de Ko'olau Gap, een dichtbeboste vallei die zich uitstrekt zover het oog reikt naar de krater. Zie hoeveel watervallen je kunt tellen die langs de valleiwanden naar beneden vallen!
Een prachtige zwarte vulkanische rotskustlijn die uitsteekt in de krachtige golven van de Stille Oceaan is het decor voor een glimp van het verleden van de Maui. Hier in Keʻanae wordt de traditionele methode van loʻi kalo (wetland taro) landbouw nog steeds beoefend. Geniet van een brood van de beroemde Tante Sandy's bananenbrood (zoals te zien op National Geographic's Uncharted with Gordon Ramsey!) terwijl u kijkt en luistert naar de donderende golven die aan land breken.
Wil je "zwemmen in een waterval in Hawaï" van je bucketlist schrappen? Nu is je kans! Met niet één, maar TWEE prachtige watervallen die natuurlijke zwembaden hebben die ideaal zijn om te zwemmen, kunt u een duik nemen in koel, verfrissend water dat rechtstreeks van de hellingen van Haleakela stroomt. Voor de adrenalinezoekers in uw groep is er ook een veilige Zoek een plek om te klifspringen bij een van de watervallen hier!
Je bemanning heeft nu waarschijnlijk wel trek gekregen! Gelukkig, Er zijn verschillende eetgelegenheden in Hana en buiten de stad. Voor fantastische houtgestookte pizza's met groenten die ter plaatse worden geteeld, Hana Farms is een geweldige stop voor zowel lunch als het uitzoeken van verse biologische producten. Er is ook een foodtruckpark in de stad met verschillende opties, Braddah Hutt's BBQ Grill net buiten de stad, of de Hana Ranch Restaurant als je zin hebt genieten van een uitzicht op de oceaan met uw maaltijd. Na de lunch laden we in en nemen uw Groep naar Hana Bay, waar u kunt genieten van een geweldig uitzicht op Hana Town, en hoor over de fascinerende geschiedenis van dit gebied.
Wees getuige van de adembenemende schoonheid van ‘Ālau Island, een zeevogelreservaat dat dramatisch door golven is gehavend. Geniet van het uitzicht terwijl u langs de zakken van het rode zandstrand slentert en kijk uit op de Leho‘ula-zeeboog terug naar de stad. Uncle Russell's Huli Huli Chicken, zoals te zien in Uncharted van National Geographic met Gordon Ramsey, is een uitstekende bordlunch om van te genieten aan een picknicktafel met uitzicht op dit prachtige landschap.
Hamoa Beach is een absoluut prachtig strand dat perfect is om te bodysurfen. Het ligt in een ring van kliffen die overloopt van groen. Zacht zand loopt helemaal door in het kristalheldere water, zodat het hele gezin kan genieten van de golven zonder zich zorgen te maken over rotsen!
Ho’okipa Beach Park is een memorabel einde van uw dag vol avontuur en heeft een van de beste uitzichten over Northshore Maui bij zonsondergang. Bekijk de surfers die enorme golven vangen bij een van de beroemdste en meest gewilde surflocaties ter wereld. En dan voor de wildlife-liefhebbers van uw groep, is dit een geweldige plek om Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles te zien! Ze houden ervan om samen te komen in een hoek van het strand direct onder een platform ideaal om een paar foto's te bekijken en te maken.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Voor gasten die aankomen op een cruiseschip, vragen wij u uw Gids te ontmoeten op een locatie op korte afstand van de haven (~ 15 min lopen). Afzetten gaat nog soepeler - we kunnen u naar een aangewezen gebied direct naast het schip in de haven brengen! Je Gids zal je een paar dagen voor je tour sms'en vanaf hun persoonlijke mobiele telefoon om de ophaaldetails te bevestigen en zichzelf voor te stellen. Of u nu kiest om uw Gids op ons kantoor te ontmoeten of de dag rechtstreeks vanuit uw resort te beginnen, het hebben van een direct middel om te communiceren met uw Gids maakt de ochtendstress - gratis!

Amazing private tour to Hana! A must do!! We had an awesome day today with Eugene! He showed us some of the most beautiful and unique (non-tourist) spots. We will remember this trip forever!

The day we spent with Nick felt like sharing our trip with a very knowledgeable, fun and personal friend. Nick and Ohana tours communication before and during our trip was seamless. This was an amazing experience for our entire family and I highly recommend it!!! Travis was the best guide, and the coolest part was how the day was adapted to our family as Travis got to know us. The communication before and during was everything you would hope for when you are looking for a customizable, 5 star experience. I had been to Maui before and always wondered about the Hana experience. We brought our 8, 11, 14, and 15 year olds and they all said at the end of our trip that this was their favorite day of the entire trip! We loved the balance between car time and getting out to explore. It’s an incredible way to experience the beauty of the island from amazing trees (which we loved learning really cool details about from Travis), waterfalls, caves, and beaches. They provided everything- towels for after we all jumped a waterfall, all kinds of waters and snacks. Super flexible stops if a kid needed a restroom, changed their mind about a food truck, or wanted to listen to their music playlist. We did all wear ear patches before to help with any motion sickness and didn’t have any problems. We had other family members I recommended to also book with them and we will absolutely do this again bc there are so many different places to stop and explore!

This was the most amazing experience! The owner Eugene picked us up at our hotel, and took us to the office where we met our tour guide, Travis, who was amazing. A full day private tour getting to do what we wanted how we wanted! Travis was so friendly it was like touring with a friend, he got to know what we liked and took us to the most beautiful places plus food stops that fit our preferences! The price was unbeatable for such a custom experience, highly reccomend this to anyone looking for a private tour for a good price!

I have no words really, although we did see everything on the description, it was basically a driving tour with many winding roads. Hana itself was nothing to see. Black sand beach wasn’t a beach as one might expect, it was lava rock and really no place to swim. Although tour guide was knowledgeable, we felt his driving was a bit erratic at times and he took us to places that were closed. Waterfalls were not swimable. Wasted 8 hrs in a car was the end result. It would have been much better renting a car and going on our own. If you are considering the road to Hana, rethink it. It’s in our opinion a wasted trip.
Great day with Nick on the road to Hana. Well organized trip with detailed communication on pick up and things to know before the excursion. The ride was comfortable with ample bathroom stops if needed. Nick was well knowledge about historical Maui, island customs as well as flora/ plants native to the area. We hit all the highlights along the way, stopping at waterfalls, beautiful beaches, and killer views. Midway through, we stopped for banana bread, a must diversion! Had lunch in an area full of food trucks, a great way to catch the local vibe. Doing a private tour is a great way to customize your experience!

Eugene was awesome. Showed us everything we wanted to see, gave us insight on almost every nook and cranny of the road, stopped and got wild fruit from trees for us to taste, stopped when and where we wanted, and even took us to some off the beaten path places that he visits himself that no one else was around to see (and it was a busy road where people were at most every stop). He definitely made sure to help us get the most out of our trip. He even took us around the mountain instead of backtracking from Hana, which was just as beautiful in its own way. Would highly recommend this excursion.

We had such an incredible experience with Nick as our guide. He’s incredibly knowledgable about all the plants along the road to Hana and also knew a ton about the history of the region. Our favorite stop was a secluded waterfall that other tourists didn’t know about, so we had it all to ourselves.
