Verken de natuurlijke wonderen van de Molokini-krater, een vulkanisch eilandje op 4,8 km voor de kust van Maui, tijdens deze snorkeltour vanuit Maalaea. Omgeven door helder tropisch water, is deze uitgestorven kegel de thuisbasis van vele soorten zeeleven, zoals vissen, zee-egels, haaien, mantaroggen en koraal. Molokini is een zeereservaat, wat betekent dat niets kan worden verstoord, waardoor het eiland en de onderwateromgeving ongerept blijven. Je verkent ook Turtle Town en bewondert inheemse vogels. Twee waterglijbanen, een glazen bodem kijkkamer, en een "sprong van vertrouwen" zijn ook beschikbaar als je niet wilt snorkelen of vroeg klaar. Great experience. Because of the tropical depression south of Maui we were unable to snorkel at Molokini Crater. The Captain deemed it unsafe which was a good call. He took us to Turtle town and the waters were much calmer. Saw several sea turtles. The crew was attentive to those who got sea sick. If the weather service calls for a wind advisory you might want to take something for seasickness because there were alot of people who got sick. We were the last boat to go out for the next couple of days because of the choppy water.
Great service and amazing boat with tons of room to get into/out of the water - basically no waiting to get out snorkeling!
Friendly, professional crew and experienced captain. We felt very safe the entire trip. Very worth getting up early to enjoy this amazing snorkeling experience!
Great time! Original spot was too rough so travelled to another which was great as it was calm and beautiful and got to swim with turtles at turtle town. Food was really good and the staff were so king and amazing!

This tour was extremely fun! The guides were friendly, helpful, and attentive. We had a blast snorkeling at both locations and saw so many turtles. They also serve two meals and snacks so you get your moneys worth for sure. Highly recommend!

I obsess over reviews and choosing the right company for my excursions. I was a little nervous the the ship might be good big and crowded. I was just really right! Im a picky eater and they had great food, great quality and sellection. The service efficient and super helpful. Getting on and off the boat was really easy for a larger person. The equipment was is very good condition. The locations were memory makers. The boat and bathrooms were great and the slides were super fun.

It was amazing. Just one thing. They need to have a better way to review the photos taken by their photographer. Currently you have to look through them on your own and that is a lot to do. Other than that it's AWESOME!!

We booked a trip on the Calypso and every minute was filled with beautiful scenery, nonstop delicious food and wonderful attentive service by the crew. This was my grandson's first time snorkeling and this trip created memories for a lifetime for the two of us.

What a great way to spend the morning!! The Calypso is a large and stable vessel and it was a comfortable trip out to Molokini. The staff was attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable with their equipment before we got started. Breakfast was hearty with eggs, sausage, various pastries and fruit. Lunch was a couple different kinds of sandwiches and salads and very plentiful! The boat had steps across the entire back of the boat which offered lots of room for everyone to get in and out of the water and they offered several types of floatation devices, from noodles and belts to boards with windows for non-swimmers. We had such a good time and I will definitely go again - highly recommend!
