Onze halve dag begint bij het uitkijkpunt van Pico dos Barcelos, een heel mooi uitzicht op heel Funchal, waar we verschillende locaties van de stad kunnen zien en een geweldig zicht hebben voor mooie foto's. We gaan verder en gaan richting een van de grootste toeristische attracties van Madeira, Eira do Serrado op een hoogte van 1053 meter, waar we kunnen genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op Nuns Valley, dat ooit een toevluchtsoord was voor de Nonnen van het klooster van Santa Clara tijdens de invasie van de Franse kapers naar het eiland. Tijdens onze reis zullen we stoppen in een aantal gezichtspunten om de Socorrido stroom te zien en het verhaal van het oude Madeira te vertellen met enkele smalle oude wegen gebouwd op de bergen.

A wonderful afternoon of amazing scenery and plenty of information provided by our driver Marco who provided a very informative commentary throughout our trip. He was very flexible and met our need to take things slowly. Private tours mean you can see much more and move at your own pace.

We made a great tour in Funchal.
