Beschrijving
Deze privétour neemt je mee naar de inspirerende en indrukwekkende locaties van Armenië in zuidoostelijke richting. De eerste stop is in het oude dorp Areni, waar een 6000 jaar oude wijnmakerij werd gevonden. U zult hier genieten van wijnproeverijen en een rondleiding door de fabriek "Hin Areni". De volgende is de Shaki-waterval, gelegen in een van de gezelligste en mooiste hoeken van de provincie Syunik, die glorieus haar opvallende schoonheid opent voor alle bewonderaars. Verderop op de route volgt een vlucht met de langste omkeerbare kabelbaan ter wereld - "Wings of Tatev" en een bezoek aan het unieke Tatev-kloostercomplex. Op de terugweg naar Yerevan bezoekt u het oude observatorium Karahunj. De rotstekeningen (schilderijen op rotsen), die in de buurt zijn gevonden, geven aan dat de primitieve mens in Armenië bepaalde informatie over astronomie had.

Vayots Dzor en Areni dorp in het bijzonder is de bakermat van de Armeense wijnbereiding voor millennia. Wijnfabriek "Hin Areni" heeft de capaciteit om meer dan 250 ton druiven te verwerken.
Shaki waterval ligt in het zuidelijke deel van Armenië, dicht bij Sisian. De herfst, gelegen in een van de gezelligste en mooiste hoeken van Syunik, opent glorieus zijn opvallende schoonheid voor alle bewonderaars. De lucht hier is vol inspirerende melodie van water en geur van bergen, het laden van al hun golven.

Onder de architectonische pijlers van Zangezour heeft het klooster van Tatev geen rivalen. Dit was vroeger het rijkste middeleeuwse klooster van Armenië. Behalve dat het een religieus centrum was, was Tatev ook het belangrijke strategische centrum van het Syunik-koninkrijk.
De langste non-stop kabelbaan ter wereld. De kabelbaan van 5,7 kilometer loopt door een diepe kloof van de rivier de Vorotan en over heuvels bedekt met weelderige bossen.
De wetenschappelijke expedities hebben bewezen dat Karahunj (Zorats Karer) een van de oudste observatoria ter wereld is. Er wordt gezegd dat het ongeveer 7500 jaar oud is.

We had an amazing time with our tour guide Rose and driver David. Rose did a fantastic job explaining the history and culture in both English and Armenian. We enjoyed every second of our trip and I recommend everyone who reads this to make the trip. We can’t forget uncle David who drove us for almost 9-10 hours safely.

Wonderful tour, unusual. Despite the long drive, the tour was worth it. The monastery, nature, the road - cannot be translated into words. It needs to be seen, visited. I'll mention Samvel's guide separately. He made the trip even more interesting. It matters a lot who drives. Driver Ashot was with us. That's why there were no problems in traffic, in stops, over time. It is very nice to be accompanied by professional and polite people. Definitely, I recommend it.

Excellent tour arrangements. Later went on a similar excursion in Georgia and realized how high service received in Armenia. Very attentive to guests, water on the road (small things, but felt on another tour what it's like when it's not there), clear organization - not wasting time at lunch, everything is ready for arrival. A clear start to the tour - no need to wait for the bus, it's always there. You can use the restroom in the office before leaving. Enough sanitation stops, neat toilets all along the route. The guide immediately tells you where the bathroom is, whether it's paid for or not, how long before the next one is due. At the end of the tour, the guide asked if anyone needed help calling a taxi. Thank you so much for a wonderful time! I am proud that there are people in Armenia who can show the beauty of Armenia with such love for their country and visitors!

Amazing experience seeing the Shaki waterfalls, Tatev, noravank, Tatev monastery. We made a stop at a special place for lunch called Gastro yard. The hospitality is unmatched. Our driver was Lyov (Levon). We always request him, he is an incredible person, the safest driver and very informative. If you want to experience Armenian in its entirety you have to book all the tours through Hyur service, their customer service and quality of tours is top notch.

Came for the first time with a friend to Armenia, didn't know where, what where, acquaintances advised this service and we remained absolutely delighted. A long and interesting adventure with guide Edward and super-driver Samwell. The guide talked all the way interestingly about the districts and memorable places of Armenia, which we passed. Beautiful nature like a postcard and interesting history of the country. The tour is organized clearly by time and route.

Excellent trip! The places we visited were all very interesting and mesmerising. The view from the monastery was incredibly breathtaking. However, the most enjoyable part was the winery. Heard a lot of interesting things about the wine production, tasted some wine samples, and had lunch in the local restaurant. The driver Avet was very professional: told us some facts about each place we have visited, made stops with amazing views. He was also always polite and cheerful. The driver itself was save and comfortable.
