Khor Virap - Armeens klooster, gebouwd in 642, vertaald uit het Armeens betekent "diep gat". Khor Virap is een van de heiligdommen van de Armeens-Apostolische Kerk, een bedevaartsoord. Het meest interessante feit van dit klooster is het feit dat het werd gebouwd op de plaats van de koninklijke gevangenis, waar Gregorius de Verlichter eerder gevangen zat - de patroonheilige en het eerste officiële hoofd van de Armeens-Apostolische Kerk door de Armeense koning gedurende 13 jaar . Vanaf het grondgebied van het klooster is er een ongewoon uitzicht op de bijbelse berg Ararat.
U zult een fotostop maken bij het Azat Reservoir. Het is een van de mooiste reservoirs in de Republiek Armenië. Het ligt in de regio Ararat en is vrij dicht bij de magische tempel Garni. U heeft een geweldige kans om deze geweldige plek te bezoeken en dat prachtige uitzicht te zien.
Het Geghard-klooster is een van de grootste middeleeuwse architectonische bouwwerken in Armenië. Geghard is volledig uitgehold in een grot, het wordt ook wel een 'grotklooster' genoemd. Dit klooster is gesticht in de 4e eeuw na Christus. in plaats van de heilige bron, afkomstig uit de grot. De naam van het kloostercomplex Geghard (speer) komt van de Langin'n-speer, die het lichaam van Jezus Christus aan het kruis doorboorde. Momenteel wordt deze speer bewaard in het museum van Etchmiadzin. Het kloostercomplex Geghard staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO.
De heidense tempel van Garni werd in de tweede helft van de 1e eeuw gebouwd door koning Trdat III. Dit is de enige heidense tempel die bewaard is gebleven op het grondgebied van Armenië. Na de adoptie van het christendom werd het de zomerresidentie van Khosrovadukht, de zus van koning Trdat III. Het werd in 1679 door een aardbeving verwoest. Delen, fragmenten van sierlijke zuilen en muurstenen werden rond de tempel verspreid. Er wordt verondersteld dat de tempel was opgedragen aan Mithra, de God van de zon.
Charents Arch is gelegen nabij Yerevan, tussen de heidense tempel van Garni en het Geghard christelijke kloostercomplex in het dorp Vokhchaberd. Op het eerste gezicht lijkt de boog de meest gewone en onopvallende, maar als je dichterbij komt, naar het platform binnen de boog gaat en naar het panorama kijkt, wordt alles duidelijk - dit is de beste plek om de grote en heilige berg van Ararat te bewonderen , om er één mee te zijn en te genieten van het prachtige landschap.

An individual tour was booked with her husband at the travel agency Jan Armenia. Driver Carlen arrived ahead of schedule, graciously placed a Mercedes in the interior. We were accompanied to all locations by Carlen and issued historical reports on them. The trip was very enjoyable, we brought with us a huge number of experiences. Armenia surprised with its flavor. We booked a one-day private tour covering Khor Virap Monastery, Azat Reservoir, Garni Temple, the Symphony of Stones, and Geghard Monastery, and we truly enjoyed every moment.
