We bieden twee opties voor deze tour - beide omvatten een bezoek aan de Grote Muur en een knuffelige panda-ontmoeting in Beijing Panda House (niet nodig om naar Chengdu te vliegen). Kies bij het boeken op basis van uw voorkeur : Optie 1: Mutianyu Grote Muur – Geliefd om zijn goed bewaarde architectuur, weelderige landschap en minder drukte, het is ideaal om te genieten van de grandeur van dit oude wonder. Optie 2: Badaling Great Wall – Geniet van exclusieve VIP-toegang (speciale pendelbus en kabelbaan) om alle wachtrijen over te slaan, wat zorgt voor een soepelere, probleemloze ervaring.
Uw Engels sprekende Gids en privé auto halen u op in de lobby van uw hotel helder en vroeg. Aangezien panda’s het meest actief zijn in de ochtend, is onze eerste stop het Panda House in het westelijke deel van de stad. De reuzenpanda is het zeldzaamste lid van de berenfamilie en behoort tot 's werelds meest bedreigde dieren. Er zijn nog maar zo'n 1.600 reuzenpanda's op de wereld die op de Rode Lijst van Bedreigde Soorten van de World Conservation Union (IUCN) staan, en je hebt de prachtige kans om er hier enkele te observeren. Na het pandabezoek gaan we naar een lokaal restaurant voor de lunch, die ongeveer 40 minuten duurt.
Als u ervoor kiest om Mutianyu Grote Muur te bezoeken, gaan we vervolgens naar het Mutianyu-gedeelte van de Grote Muur. De tocht duurt ongeveer 1,5 uur en tijdens de rit zal uw Gids interessante verhalen over de Grote Muur delen. Bij aankomst volgt u de Gids om met de kabelbaan of skilift naar de top van de muur te gaan. De Gids blijft bij je om de geschiedenis van de Grote Muur uit te leggen terwijl je de wachttorens verkent, en je hebt ook vrije tijd om foto's te maken. Voor de afdaling kunt u weer met de kabelbaan of skilift gaan, of kiezen voor de spannende rodeltocht – houd er rekening mee dat in het hoogseizoen de wachttijd voor de rodelbaan meer dan een uur kan zijn. Na het bezoek aan de Grote Muur rijden we u terug naar uw hotel.
Als u ervoor kiest om Badaling Great Wall te bezoeken, zorgt onze exclusieve VIP-toegang voor een probleemloze reis: een speciale shuttlebus brengt u rechtstreeks naar de ingang van de kabelbaan, zodat u alle wachtrijen kunt overslaan en rechtstreeks naar de Great Wall kunt gaan. De reis naar Badaling duurt ongeveer anderhalf uur en tijdens de rit zal uw Gids interessante verhalen met betrekking tot de Grote Muur delen. Bij het bereiken van de muur volgt u de Gids om de wachttorens te verkennen terwijl u leert over de rijke geschiedenis, en u heeft ook vrije tijd om op uw gemak foto's te maken. Voor de afdaling neemt u opnieuw de kabelbaan (zonder wachtrijen, dankzij onze VIP-service). Na het bezoek rijden we u terug naar uw hotel.

Wonderful visit to the Great Wall and Panda House with an informative stop at an amazing tea house. Saw some playful pandas in the morning before heading for an introduction to the tea culture and some delicious teas. After an exhilarating ride up to the top of the Great Wall we learned about its history as we strolled between the towers. Topped off by a delicious lunch, throughout the trip Sherry shared lots of history and insight into China. On the way back Sherry was kind enough to help us reserve tickets for our next day’s sightseeing. All in all, a wonderful day enjoyed by young and old alike. Thank you Sherry.
We spent the day with May, and she was a fantastic guide. She was friendly, talkative, and spoke excellent English, making the tour both interesting and enjoyable. She shared a lot of information about the places we visited and was always happy to answer our questions. Everything was well organized, and we had a great time. Wow! What an incredible day that was only made so incredible because of our amazing tour guide Sherry and our driver. Due to a typhoon warning our plans had to change at the last minute due to closures. Sherry made sure we had the best day. She showed us parts of beijing we never would have seen otherwise. Lucia was my tour guide and she was truly such a gem of a human. She was super knowledgeable, attentive, and flexible with the full day tour. She knew how things move, and was able to recommend adjusting our schedule to make the most of the day. Plan to take the earliest possible time as it’s crucial to get to the Great Wall first thing in the morning, else queues will be too long. Perfect day, and Lucia also takes great photos. The tour was fantastic! We were picked up right on time from our hotel, and both the driver and our guide had thoughtfully prepared drinks and snacks for us in the car, which was a lovely touch. Everything was really well organised, and we enjoyed all of the activities. Optional add-on activities were suggested, but they weren’t pushed, which we appreciated. Sherry was a wonderful guide and even waited in line for the Mutianyu toboggan while we explored, which saved us a lot of time and meant we didn’t have to spend ages queuing. It made a big difference, especially during the summer heat. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Beijing.
Traveled with the family in late June. You need to be in pretty good physical condition for this tour as the terrain here is fairly steep. Cindy our guide was great in navigating us. The kids enjoyed the toboggan ride down the wall after the climb. The panda experience was sort of a miss because when we arrived only two of the pandas were available to be seen, the other ones were asleep. Since we were in a private group, we asked for the non-buffet lunch and Cindy brought us to a local restaurant to try traditional dishes to the area which I would highly recommend.

Seeing the pandas was unforgettable, and visiting the Great Wall was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were also treated to bonus stops at a traditional tea ceremony and a jade factory, which made the day even more special. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!
