De Garni tempel, die boven een driehoekige kaap uittorent, is het unieke voorbeeld van de heidense cultuur in Armenië. Het is een mix van Grieks-Romeinse en Armeense stijlen. Koning Trdat De Eerste gaf in de eerste eeuw na Christus opdracht tot de bouw van de tempel en wijdde deze aan de God van de Zon.Na de aanneming van het christendom in 301 verloor de heidense tempel zijn betekenis en werd het fort van Garni de zomerresidentie van de koningen. Tegenwoordig zijn de ruïnes van het koninklijk paleis en de badkamer met een prachtig mozaïekwerk te vinden bij de tempel.
Het Geghardklooster is het onovertroffen meesterwerk van de 13e-eeuwse Armeense architectuur. Sommige kerken van het complex zijn meesterlijk uitgehouwen in een enorme rots. Vanaf het begin heette het complex Ayrivank (grottenklooster), later werd het omgedoopt tot Geghard (lans) omdat de lans, die door de Romeinse soldaat werd gebruikt om de kant van Jezus Christus te steken, vele eeuwen in dit klooster werd bewaard. Vanwege de constructie dient Geghardavank de beste plek voor het zingen van spirituele liederen. Het complex is rijk aan subtiele sculpturale verfraaiingen en vele opvallende khachkars (kruisstenen). De site is opgenomen in de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst.
De fascinatie en de "parel" van het bergachtige Armenië is het Sevanmeer, een van 's werelds grootste zoetwatermeren op grote hoogte. Het ligt ongeveer 1900 m boven zeeniveau. Het meer is van vulkanische oorsprong en wordt omringd door bergen van 3000 m en hoger. Het prachtige landschap en het kristalheldere water dienen mooie randvoorwaarden voor een uitstekende rust. Het meer is ook beroemd om zijn schiereiland en middeleeuwse kerkcomplex, gebouwd in 874.
Een prachtig tafereel opent zich in het noordwestelijke deel van het Sevanmeer, waar het schiereiland uittorent boven het transparante oppervlak van het meer. Het Sevanavankklooster werd in 874 op het schiereiland gebouwd in opdracht van de dochter van koning Ashot Bagratuni – prinses Mariam. Het silhouet van de kerken tegen de achtergrond van het turquoise meer en de blauwe lucht werpt onverklaarbare impressie op de bezoekers.

In May 2026 we were in Yerevan, we were advised by this agency, there booked an individual tour and remained absolutely delighted!!! There were three of us, so we were picked up from the hotel on the Camry Toyota in excellent condition (clean car). Guide Jasmine told us interesting facts about Armenia, Armenian culture and life throughout the 7-8 hours, immersed us in the history of sights, and answered our questions. A very erudite and pleasant young girl. Driver Gregory also told many interesting and educational stories. After a whole day together in the same car, it seemed like we'd known each other for years! Jasmine and Gregory, thank you very much for this day, for your communication and openness ☺️ The only thing - not very lucky with the weather in Sevan (but you have to be prepared for this just in case, so warm things there will definitely not be excessive) We also recommend this agency for its excellent organization and logistics (helped to plan a customized itinerary and added another location (extra charge))

We thank our guide Akob, driver Spartacus and manager Anna for the clear organization of the program, we had a tour for several days, 3 full tour days. Initially we were given an interesting route, and it was perfectly organized. The guide gave an interesting and detailed account of the history of Armenia and interesting facts about the places we visited. Found common ground with all the members of our international group. Fishing was also organized on Lake Sevan.
